1. A Heating, Ventilation, and/or Air Conditioning (HVAC) controller, comprising: a controller;a display operatively coupled to the controller, the display comprising: a first region having an array of fixed segment pixels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns for displaying an image in a dot matrix format;a second region having a plurality of predefined fixed segment graphical icons; andthe controller is configured to sequentially display two or more installer setup items, wherein each installer setup item includes an installer setup item number that is displayed in the second region of the display, an installer setup item name and a user changeable installer setup item value that corresponds to the installer setup item name, wherein the installer setup item name and the installer setup item value are concurrently displayed in the first region of the display. 2. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the first region of the display is capable of displaying less than three lines of text. 3. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the installer setup item name is displayed on a first line of text and the installer setup item value is displayed on a second line of text. 4. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to animate the installer setup item name and/or installer setup item value in the first region of the display. 5. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to animate the installer setup item name in a horizontal direction when switching between a first installer setup item and a second installer setup item of the two or more installer setup items. 6. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to animate the installer setup item value when switching between a first predefined installer setup item value and a second predefined installer setup item value. 7. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to display a predefined fixed segment graphical icon of a button in the second region of the display, wherein touching the button in the second region of the display causes the controller to switch from a first predefined installer setup item value to a second predefined installer setup item value in the first region of the display. 8. The HVAC controller of claim 7, wherein the controller is configured to animate a transition from the first predefined installer setup item value and the second predefined installer setup item value. 9. The HVAC controller of claim 1, wherein the display is a touch screen display. 10. A Heating, Ventilation, and/or Air Conditioning (HVAC) controller, comprising: a controller;a display operatively coupled to the controller, the display comprising: a first region having an array of fixed segment pixels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns for displaying an image in a dot matrix format;a second region having a plurality of predefined fixed segment graphical icons;the controller is configured to sequentially display two or more installer setup items, wherein each installer setup item includes an installer setup item name and a user changeable installer setup item value that corresponds to the installer setup item name, wherein the installer setup item name and the installer setup item value are concurrently displayed in the first region of the display; andthe controller is configured to display a predefined fixed segment graphical icon of a first button in the second region of the display, wherein touching the first button in the second region of the display causes the controller to display a predefined installer setup item value that was not previously displayed in the first region of the display. 11. The HVAC controller of claim 10, wherein the controller is configured to display a predefined fixed segment graphical icon of a second button in the second region of the display, wherein touching the second button in the second region of the display causes the controller to switch from a first installer setup item to a second installer setup item of the two or more installer setup items. 12.
