The portable storage device of claim 1, wherein the portable storage device comprises at least one of a bracelet, a watch, or a necklace. 3. The portable storage device of claim 1, wherein the portable storage device comprises a graphical user interface. 4. The portable storage device of claim 1, further comprising a waterproof coating. 5. The portable device of claim 1, wherein the network comprises a local network. 6. The portable device of claim 5, wherein the local network comprises a router. 7. The portable storage device of claim 1, wherein the network comprises an Internet. 8. The portable device of claim 1, wherein the storage module is configured to sync with the first device. 9. The portable device of claim 1, wherein the storage module is configured to automatically sync the files with the first device. 10. The portable storage device of claim 9, wherein the files are encrypted. 11. The portable storage device of claim 1, further comprising an access key stored on the storage module. 12. The portable storage device of claim 1, wherein the storage module comprises a capacity of at least one terabyte. 13. A portable storage device comprising: a processor;a storage module configured to receive storage instructions from the processor, wherein the storage module comprises a capacity greater than or equal to 32 gigabytes, andwherein the storage module is configured to store files for reading by a first device comprising at least one of a personal computer, a laptop, a smartphone, or a tablet;a communication module configured to receive communication instructions from the processor, wherein the communication module comprises a first wireless chip and is configured to directly communicate with the first device using a standardized communications protocol by prepending a standardized communication protocol header to at least one of a packet or datagram to identify the packet or the datagram as following the standardized communication protocol for communication over a network,wherein the standardized communication protocol defines functionality of the first device to at least one of discover devices or request data transfers,wherein the communication module implements a discovery protocol on a transport layer using at least one of TCP or UDP, and the discovery protocol comprises a local client instantiated on the first device to establish a connection with the portable storage device,wherein the discovery protocol is defined by the standardized communications protocol, andwherein the communication module is configured to receive the files from the at least one of the personal computer, the laptop, the smartphone, or the tablet for storage on the storage module; anda second wireless chip configured to directly communicate with the first device over a Bluetooth protocol, wherein at least one of the first wireless chip or the second wireless chip is configured to directly transmit the one-time cypher to at least one of the personal computer, the laptop, the smartphone, or the tablet, andwherein during device discovery the communication module is configured to transmit a broadcast message by dividing the broadcast message into multiple packets and transmitting the multiple packets through a first transmission path using the first wireless chip and a second transmission path using the second wireless chip.
