The projectile resistant security panel of claim 1, including neoprene blocks or strips disposed between a lower edge of said at least one pane of said projectile resistant transparent or translucent light transmitting material and said divider grid. 4. The projectile resistant security panel of claim 1, wherein said exterior wood core comprises a multi-layer exterior wood core. 5. The projectile resistant security panel of claim 1, wherein said interior wood core comprises a multi-layer interior wood core. 6. The projectile resistant security panel of claim 1, including a door comprising a pair of horizontal rails joining a pair of vertical stiles, said pair of horizontal rails and said pair of vertical stiles connecting at respective corners forming a door panel. 7. The projectile resistant security panel of claim 6, wherein said door comprises at least one wood layer bonded to at least one steel layer. 8.
