A security device for a mobile device, comprising: a body having a first body extension, a second body extension, and an upper surface, the body comprising a first guide track comprising a slot extending through the first body extension and a second guide track comprising a slot extending through the second body extension, the first guide track positioned opposite the second guide track;a first sliding arm coupled to the first body extension through the slot of the first guide track, the first sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the first sliding arm has a first retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the first sliding arm above a plane of the upper surface of the body;a second sliding arm coupled to the second body extension through the slot of the second guide track, opposite the first sliding arm, the second sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the second sliding arm has a second retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the second sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body; anda leveling plate configured to receive the mobile device, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to a component of the security device using one or more leveling screws to allow the leveling plate to move along a Z-axis relative to the upper surface of the body. 2. The security device of claim 1, wherein at least one of the first retention member and second retention member is formed by two retention hooks. 3. The security device of claim 1, wherein each of the first body extension and second body extension are separate components coupled to the body. 4. The security device of claim 1, wherein each of the first retention member of the first sliding arm and the second retention member of the second sliding arm is configured to clamp on the mobile device to retain the mobile device in the security device. 5. The security device of claim 1, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to the upper surface of the body between the first sliding arm and second sliding arm. 6. A security device for a mobile device, comprising: a body having a first body extension, a second body extension, and an upper surface, the body comprising a first guide track extending through the first body extension and a second guide track extending through the second body extension, the first guide track positioned opposite the second guide track;a first sliding arm coupled to the first guide track, the first sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the first sliding arm has a first retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the first sliding arm above a plane of the upper surface of the body;a second sliding arm coupled to the second guide track opposite the first sliding arm, the second sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the second sliding arm has a second retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the second sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body;a leveling plate configured to receive the mobile device, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to a component of the security device using one or more leveling screws to allow the leveling plate to move along a Z-axis relative to the upper surface of the body;a base body configured to be coupled to a mounting surface; anda receiver configured to receive the security device, the receiver comprising, a central aperture for receiving a mounting rod of the security device,a counterbore in a bottom surface of the receiver,a mounting washer received in the counterbore, anda wing nut coupled to the mounting rod,wherein rotation of the wing nut is configured to apply a force to the mounting washer and draw the mounting rod into the receiver. 7. The security device of claim 6, wherein the security device further comprises a washer coupled to the mounting rod, the washer having a cutout section, the cutout section configured to permit passage of a cable. 8. The security device of claim 6, further comprising a plurality of fasteners configured to couple the base body to the mounting surface. 9. The security device of claim 6, wherein the wing nut and mounting rod are configured to be inaccessible when the receiver is coupled to the base body and the base body is coupled to the mounting surface. 10. A security device for an electronic device comprising: a body having a first body extension, a second body extension, and an upper surface, the body comprising a first guide track extending through the first body extension and a second guide track extending through the second body extension, the first guide track positioned opposite the second guide track;a first sliding arm coupled to the first guide track, the first sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the first sliding arm has a first retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the first sliding arm above a plane of the upper surface of the body;a second sliding arm coupled to the second guide track opposite the first sliding arm, the second sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the second sliding arm has a second retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the second sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body;a third body extension with a third guide track extending therethrough and a third sliding arm coupled to the third guide track, the third sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the third sliding arm has a third retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the third sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body; anda leveling plate configured to receive the mobile device, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to a component of the security device using one or more leveling screws to allow the leveling plate to move along a Z-axis relative to the upper surface of the body. 11. A security device for an electronic device comprising: a body having a first body extension having a lower surface comprising a plurality of teeth, a second body extension, and an upper surface, the body comprising a first guide track extending through the first body extension and a second guide track extending through the second body extension, the first guide track positioned opposite the second guide track;a first sliding arm coupled to the first guide track, the first sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the first sliding arm has a first retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the first sliding arm above a plane of the upper surface of the body;a second sliding arm coupled to the second guide track opposite the first sliding arm, the second sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the second sliding arm has a second retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the second sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body; anda leveling plate configured to receive the mobile device, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to a component of the security device using one or more leveling screws to allow the leveling plate to move along a Z-axis relative to the upper surface of the body,wherein a lower surface of the first body extension comprises a plurality of teeth surrounding the first guide track. 12. The security device of claim 11, further comprising: a first locking plate, comprising: an upper surface and a lower surface;a plurality of teeth extending along the upper surface of the first locking plate; andan aperture extending through the first locking plate from the upper surface to the lower surface of the first locking plate,wherein the upper surface of the first locking plate contacts the lower surface of the first body extension and a first fastener extends through the aperture of the first locking plate, through the first guide track of the first body extension, into the first sliding arm to lock the position of the first sliding arm along the first body extension. 13. A security device comprising: a body having a first body extension, a second body extension, and an upper surface, the body comprising a first guide track extending through the first body extension and a second guide track extending through the second body extension, the first guide track positioned opposite the second guide track;a first sliding arm coupled to the first guide track, the first sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the first sliding arm has a first retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the first sliding arm above a plane of the upper surface of the body;a second sliding arm coupled to the second guide track, opposite the first sliding arm, the second sliding arm having a distal end, wherein the distal end of the second sliding arm has a second retention member extending substantially horizontally from the distal end of the second sliding arm above the plane of the upper surface of the body; anda leveling plate configured to receive the mobile device, wherein the leveling plate is coupled to a component of the security device using one or more leveling screws to allow the leveling plate to move along a Z-axis relative to the upper surface of the body, and wherein the leveling plate is coupled to an upper surface of the first sliding arm and wherein a second leveling plate is coupled to an upper surface of the second sliding arm.
