The fuel pump according to claim 4, wherein, in the abutting portion, an end surface on a downstream side in the flow direction of the fuel serves as an abutting surface abutting the valve body, and a part on an upstream side in the flow direction of the fuel is provided with a penetrating groove penetrating from an inner side to an outer side of the opening when viewed from the flow direction of the fuel in the opening. 6.
