The button assembly of claim 2, wherein said image is only one of a symbol and a graphic element and excludes text. 6. The assembly of claim 1, wherein said substrate comprises a lanyard. 7. The assembly of claim 1, wherein said substrate comprises a fashion accessory. 8. The assembly of claim 1, wherein said substrate comprises a backpack. 9.
