The sensor is for sensing the presence of lubricating oil that fills the lubricating oil reservoir to a recommended oil level for providing machine lubrication, and the non-presence of lubricating oil that does not fill the lubricating oil reservoir to the recommended oil level, and a signal apparatus is operatively coupled to the sensor for issuing a first stimulus in response to the sensor sensing the presence of lubricating oil for identifying a normal lubricating oil level condition, and for issuing a second different stimulus in response to the sensor sensing the non-presence of lubricating oil for identifying a low oil level condition.

The cap assembly according to claim 1, wherein the sensor includes: an inner end;an outer end;a bore, the bore extends through the sensor from the inner end to the outer end, and is formed with a sensor contact;the inner end of the plug is threaded to the bore through the inner end of the sensor; andthe sensor is electrically connected to the conductor structure via the sensor contact. 3. The cap assembly according to claim 1, wherein the sensor is adhesively adhered to the lubricating oil engaging side of the cap. 4. The cap assembly according to claim 1, wherein the wireless transmitter is threaded to the outer end of the plug. 5. The cap assembly according to claim 4, wherein the outer end of the plug is formed with a location spigot, and the wireless transmitter is threaded to the location spigot. 6. The cap assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a battery for powering the sensor and the wireless transmitter. 7. The cap assembly according to claim 6, wherein the battery is formed with the transmitter. 8. The cap assembly according to claim 6, wherein the conductor structure electrically connects the sensor to the battery. 9. A cap assembly, comprising: a cap, the cap is for closing an open end of a reservoir and includes an outer side, an inner side, a port that extends through the cap from the outer side to the inner side, and a sensor juxtaposed to the inner sidethe port is closed by a plug removably coupled to the port, the plug includes an inner end adjacent to the inner side of the cap, an outer end adjacent to the outer side of the cap, a wireless transmitter carried by the outer end, and a conductor structure, the conductor structure operatively couples the sensor to the wireless transmitter;the conductor structure includes a conductive track, the conductive track extends through the plug from an inner contact proximate to the inner end of the plug to an outer contact proximate to the outer end of the plug;the sensor is electrically connected to the conductive track via the inner contact;the wireless transmitter is electrically connected to the conductive track via the outer contact;the wireless transmitter is for transmitting a wireless signal, when the sensor issues a signal to the wireless transmitter. 10. The cap assembly according to claim 9, wherein the sensor includes: an inner end;an outer end;a bore, the bore extends through the sensor from the inner end to the outer end, and is formed with a sensor contact;the inner end of the plug is threaded to the bore through the inner end of the sensor; andthe sensor is electrically connected to the conductor structure via the sensor contact. 11. The cap assembly according to claim 9, wherein the sensor is adhesively adhered to the lubricating oil engaging side of the cap. 12. The cap assembly according to claim 9, wherein the wireless transmitter is threaded to the outer end of the plug. 13. The cap assembly according to claim 12, wherein the outer end of the plug is formed with a location spigot, and the wireless transmitter is threaded to the location spigot. 14. The cap assembly according to claim 9, further comprising a battery for powering the sensor and the wireless transmitter. 15. The cap assembly according to claim 14, wherein the battery is formed with the transmitter. 16. The cap assembly according to claim 14, wherein the conductor structure electrically connects the sensor to the battery.
