The user interfaces include a security interface that provides control of functions of the security system and access to data collected by the security system, and a network interface that provides access to network devices. A camera is located at the premises and coupled to the gateway. A security server at a remote location is coupled to the gateway. The security server comprises a client interface through which remote client devices exchange data with the gateway and the security system.

The system of claim 1, wherein the touchscreen device is configured to monitor, via the one or more network devices, a state of the premises. 3. The system of claim 1, wherein the touchscreen device is configured to register with the security server comprising sending, to the security server, an identification of the gateway device and an indication of an account of the premises. 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the touchscreen device is configured to receive device information of the one or more network devices; and wherein the security server is configured to receive, from the touchscreen device, at least a portion of the device information. 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more network devices comprise sensors, wherein the sensors comprise at least one of a door sensor, a window sensor, an enclosure sensor, a motion sensor, a thermostat, a temperature sensor, a heat sensor, a smoke sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor, a water sensor, a freeze sensor, a weather sensor, or a remote control. 6. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more network devices comprise actuators configured to perform a physical action based on a control signal, wherein the actuators comprise at least one of a thermostat, a lighting controller, an appliance controller, an alarm system, a camera, a door actuator, a door lock, a pool controller, a spa controller, an irrigation controller, an audio/visual equipment controller, a load controller, or a relay actuator. 7. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more network devices comprise at least one of a device comprising a sensor coupled to an actuator, a device comprising an actuator and a sensor, a device comprising at least one local display, a device comprising at least one of a still camera and a video camera, an Internet Protocol (IP) device, a radio frequency (RF) device, a power line device, or a free topology device. 8. The system of claim 1, further comprising a mobile device comprising applications that, when executed on the mobile device, cause the mobile device to perform operations comprising: receiving, from the security server, a communication indicative of data events of the one or more network devices; anddisplaying, on a display of the mobile device, a mobile device interface comprising an indication of the data events. 9. The system of claim 8, wherein the applications are configured to enable the mobile device to receive, via the mobile device interface, a user input indicative of a control operation for at least one network device of the one or more network devices. 10. The system of claim 9, wherein the applications are configured to enable the mobile device to send, based on the received user input and to the gateway device, a command to perform the control operation. 11. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile device interface comprises a setting interface that is configured to enable a user to set a plurality of settings of the one or more network devices. 12. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile device interface comprises a status interface configured to display status information of the one or more network devices and at least one control interface configured to receive the user input. 13. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile device interface comprises an automation interface configured to: enable a user to assign automation rules for the one or more network devices, wherein the automation rules define actions of the one or more network devices based on a plurality of events; anddisplay an indication of the plurality of events and the actions of the one or more network devices based on the plurality of events. 14. The system of claim 10, wherein the mobile device interface comprises a plurality of operating modes configured to enable a user to control operation of at least one of the gateway device, the touchscreen device, the one or more network devices, or the security server. 15. The system of claim 1, wherein the bus protocol comprises a transmission type, a data transfer rate, and a logic level of communications to and from the security system. 16. The system of claim 1, wherein the security system comprises: a plurality of security system devices; anda master device configured to poll the plurality of security system devices;wherein the plurality of security system devices comprise slave devices configured to send transmit data to the control panel based on the control panel polling the plurality of security system devices. 17. The system of claim 1, further comprising a processor simulator configured to control the control panel and communicate, via a transceiver of the control panel, with the gateway device. 18. A method comprising: receiving, via at least one user interface of a plurality of user interfaces output by a touchscreen device, a control input, wherein the plurality of user interfaces comprises a security user interface and a network user interface, wherein the security user interface is configured to provide control of functions of a security system located at a premises via communications with a control panel of the security system, and is configured to provide access to data collected by the security system, and wherein the network user interface is configured to provide access to one or more network devices located at the premises;causing, based on the control input, a command to be sent, via a bus protocol, to the security system, wherein the bus protocol is associated with the control panel of the security system;receiving, by the touchscreen device, security data captured by the security system;causing, via the touchscreen device, at least a portion of the security data to be output; andcausing at least a portion of the security data to be sent, via a second protocol different from the bus protocol, to a security server located external to the premises. 19. The method of claim 18, further comprising: receiving, via the network user interface, a second control input; andcausing, based on the second control input, a command to be sent, via a third protocol different from the bus protocol, to a network device located at the premises. 20. The method of claim 18, wherein the bus protocol comprises a transmission type, a data transfer rate, and a logic level of communications to and from the security system. 21. A method comprising: receiving, by a gateway device located at a premises, a control input, wherein the gateway device is in communication with a touchscreen device configured to output a security user interface and a network user interface, wherein the security user interface is configured to provide control of functions of a security system located at the premises via communications with a control panel of the security system and to provide access to data collected by the security system, and wherein the network user interface is configured to provide access to one or more network devices located at the premises and in communication with the gateway device;sending, based on the control input and via a bus protocol, a command to the security system, wherein the bus protocol is associated with the control panel of the security system;receiving, by the gateway device, security data captured by the security system; andsending, via a second protocol different than the bus protocol, at least a portion of the security data to a security server located external to the premises. 22. The method of claim 21, further comprising causing the at least portion of the security data to be sent, via the second protocol and via the security server, to a client device located at a second remote location external to the premises. 23. The method of claim 21, wherein the sending the command to the security system comprises: based on the control panel polling devices of the security system, sending, by the gateway device and to the control panel, a request to communicate with the control panel, the request comprising a security system bus address; andbased on the control panel polling the gateway device using the security system bus address, sending, via the bus protocol, the command to the control panel. 24. The method of claim 23, wherein the security system bus address comprises a bus address of a keypad of the control panel. 25. The method of claim 21, further comprising: receiving, by the gateway device and from the control panel, an American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) string comprising an indication of a state of the security system; andparsing, by the gateway device, the ASCII string to determine the state of the security system. 26. The method of claim 25, further comprising: sending, via the second protocol and to a touchscreen device at the premises, an indication of the state of the security system. 27. The method of claim 21, wherein the receiving the security data captured by the security system comprises receiving, by the gateway device and via a transceiver of the control panel, the security data from a processor simulator controlling the control panel.
