The surface extender device of claim 1, further comprising a handle and a spring, wherein the handle is configured to apply tension to the spring, which translates to a force applied to the movable clamping arm. 6. The surface extender device of claim 5, wherein the first clamping mechanism further includes a bent arm, wherein a first end of the bent arm is pivotably mounted to a top surface of the first panel and a second end of the bent arm is mounted to the movable clamping arm. 7.
