The electronic wearable device of claim 1, wherein: the detection device comprises at least one sensor; andone of the first audio device and the second audio device comprises the at least one sensor used for sensing proximity of the first audio device with the second audio device. 11. The electronic wearable device of claim 1, wherein: the detection device comprises one or more sensors;one or more of the first audio device and the second audio device comprise the one or more sensors; andthe one or more sensors are used for determining whether one or more of the first audio device and the second audio device are in use or the wearable device is placed in a necklace configuration. 12. The electronic wearable device of claim 1, wherein the wearable device comprises multiple haptic elements for providing notification patterns using the multiple haptic elements. 13.
