품종별 기본식물 양성을 양성하였으며, 이에 따른 이형주 제거와 DNA 표지자를 이용하여 순도 유지를 하였다. 품종별 개갑율 향상방법을 구명하였으며 전국 인삼 재배면적과 품종 재배면적 등을 조사하였으며, 종자 생산 및 보급체계를 확립하였다. 최대 수확량을 올리기 위한 품종별 적정 파종 밀도 구명 및 생육 상황을 파악하였고, 품종 증식ㆍ보급을 위한 채종 횟수 확대 방안 모색하였다. 품종별 묘삼 등급에 따른 지상부 및 지하부 생육상황을 조사하였으며, 지역별 품종생육 특성과 품종 선호도 조사 및 품종 전시포를 운영하였다.

<제 1세부 과제> The shoot of the Korea Ginseng cultivar 'Yunpoong' emerged earlier in spring and had shorter plant height compared with 'Chunpoong'. There was no significant difference on the other growth characteristics between two cultivars. The 'Yunpoong' began to flower and ripen earlier than 'Chunpoong' and had heavier root. <제 2세부 과제> The ginseng Variety was registered nine Varieties in Korea and the Korea Ginseng Corporation was registered eight of them that the Varieties was fostered on pure line isolation. The ginseng Varieties 'Chunpoong' and 'Yunpoong' was spread in the field of the supply contract that be producted six-year-old ginseng with the Korea Ginseng Corporation. But the seed supply system not been established, The ginseng new Variety be managed seed contamination, that the standardization of ginseng Quality was very difficult, therefore this Study was established a national steady production Line for early Supply System of the new ginseng Varieties and enlarged cultivation area of ginseng. In the identification experiment of direct seeding density of the ginseng Varieties for enlargement of seed harvesting <제 3세부 과제> The growth of characteristics of Chunpoong by grade ginseng seedling was indicated that root length was measured at 14.6cm, root diameter at 5.4mm, root weight at 1.2g and 754 seedlings per 750g in the best grade ginseng seedling while root length was measured at 12.6cm, root diameter at 4.9mm, root weight at 0.8g and 955 seedlings per 750g in the second grade ginseng seedling and in unusable seedling, root length was measured at 11.7cm, root diameter at 4.2mm, root weight at 0.6g and 1,327 seedlings per 750g. <제 4세부 과제> The shoot of Chunpoong and Yunpoong emerged slightly earlier in Eumseong than in Goseong. Shoot growth characteristics in the two regions did not differ significantly, but the root weight showed no differences in the two regions. Therefore, both of Chunpoong and Yunpoong are expected to be cultivated in the maritime climate of Goseong and in the inland climate of Eumseong.
