Therefore, in this project, the final goal was to raise public safety by monitoring food radioactivity and establishing a quick response system. The detailed goal is to establish a food radioactivity inspection system in PHERI(Public Health and Environment Research Institute) in the provinces and cities nationwide, establish inspection system of 90Sr and radioactive Pu in four domestic regions (Local FDA or metropolitan city and province), and investigate the radioactivity monitoring of domestic agricultural, livestock and marine products and develop materials for education and public relations to increase consumer confidence in food radiative safety management.

1. Establishment of food radioactivity monitoring system for each region in Korea
〇 Establishment of food radiological inspection system in PHERI and 4 local KFDA

Results
1. Establishment of inspection equipment for food radioactivity
In order to improve the food radioactivity inspection capability of the food radiological inspection institute, the equipment to improve the performance of the gamma radioactivity inspection equipment of the metropolitan city and the inspection institution with a high demand for radioactivity inspection have been reinforced and was installed to support facilities and equipment.

2. Pilot operation of food radiation inspection system
In order to make efficient use of the equipment installed in support of the food radiological inspection institute, a pilot inspection was conducted on food radioactivity, and three radioactivity proficiency tests were conducted to cultivate the food radioactivity inspection ability.

4. Monitoring of food radioactivity

5. Development of consumer education and promotion materials on the safety management of food radioactivity
As a result of examining consumers' perceptions on the safety management of food radioactivity, it was found that many consumers not only understand food radioactivity but also understand the safety management of food radioactivity in Korea. Therefore, in order to provide consumers with the correct information on food radioactivity, we developed textbooks to cultivate communication experts and videos for consumer education on the safety management of food radioactivity.

Expected Contribution
1. Usage plan
〇 Participate in the performance exhibition of the Multi - department Joint Planning Task on radiation
- The Multi - department Joint Planning Task on radiation participates in the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy, the KFDA, and the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission, to be. At the conclusion of the project, the National Research Foundation of Korea plans to hold an exhibition that demonstrates the results of the project. This project will showcase achievements that can show the meaning of establishing a monitoring system for monitoring food radioactivity, monitoring outputs for food radioactivity, and publicity materials for safety management of food radioactivity. - There are two radiation-related graduate students at Cheongju University, and will graduate in 2020. For these two students, as a thesis theme, they plan to make a graduation thesis based on the method of correcting the synthesis of gamma radiation and identifying and solving problems in gamma ray energy spectrum analysis.
〇 On-site expert training
- The Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare provides training on food radiation monitoring to radiation analysts at institutions that inspect food radiation. If a lecture request is made at this institution, I am willing to participate as a training instructor on the analysis of food radioactivity and to educate field experts.
- In addition, gamma-radioactive inspection systems and other nuclide screening systems were established in the project. We signed a two-year maintenance and repair contract with the equipment purchaser for each equipment. If there is a problem with the construction equipment, Cheongju University plans to contact the equipment manufacturer to facilitate the maintenance and repair of the equipment.
