The purpose of this study is to examine the influences that elementary school students’ stress experienced from extracurricular learning activities after school has on academic attitudes and study habits. There is a negative correlation between stress experienced from extracurricular learning activities after school and students displaying academic attitudes. 'Burden on time management and psychological uncomfortableness', a subfactor of extracurricular learning stress, was only the predictive variable of negative academic attitudes. There is a negative correlation between extracurricular learning stress and students displaying study habits. Two sub-factors of extracurricular learning stress, 'Burden on time management and psychological uncomfortableness', and 'limitations of time use and autonomy' were only the predictive variables of negative study habits. Findings and implications are discussed.
