The subsidy for the disabled employment is ultimately to increase income by participating in labor market. But if this subsidy focuses on encouraging the employment of the disabled rather than increasing wage of the employment disabled, it can be lead low wages for the disabled. This paper attempts to empirically analyse the employment and wage effects of this subsidy by using 2SLS(two stageleast squares estimation). Empirical results show that even though the employment growth rate of subsidy-beneficiary firms is about 23% higher than not-subsidy- beneficiary firms, the wage growth rate is about 30.5% lower.
