gelatin存在下에서 PVA와 硼砂와의 相互作用을 調査했다. 이때 PVA와 硼砂와는 複合體를 形成하는데, 이러한 反應을 糾明하기 위해 gelatin·PVA·硼砂·硼酸 등의 濃度, 溫度, pH, PVA의 平均重合度 (□)·감화도 및 水溶性高分子들의 影響을 檢討했다. 또한 沈澱이 일어나지 않는 範圍의 濃度에서 粘度를 測定했는데 이러한 結果에 依하면 gelatin 存在下에서 PVA와 硼砂와는 monodiol (1:l)形의 結合이 存在한다고 推測된다....

Interaction between PVA/and borax in the presence of gelatin was investigated. Effects of temperature, pH, concentration, degrees of polymerization, degrees of saponification of PVA and other aqueous polymer solutions on the reaction were studied to elucidate the interaction and formation of complexes, then there was a complexes. Also, viscosity was measured. From the results, it maybe regarded that PVA interacts with borate ion (B(OH)₄)to form a kind of complexes monadial (1:1).
