This reaserch was examined the solubilizing efficiency of insoluble phosphate salts by Pantoea agglomerans known as phosphate solubilizing bacterium, and looked into utility using microorganism through comparative with acid treatment. Also it was certified of continuous phosphate reproduction using immobilized P. agglomerans on calcium alginate bead as support, and finally convinced the producing of soluble phosphate by treatment in soil. Produced phosphate by acid treatment, showed some difference according to acid kinds, and concentrations. Maximum producing amount of phosphate was produced at 2 hrs of reaction. When 4g/L hydroxyapatite was treated with oxalic acid and citric acid, it was shown the higher phosphate concentration, (537.5mg/L, 702mg/L), respectably than other acid treatment. It was produced phosphate of the highest concentration(325.8mg/L) at treatment of rock phosphate with oxalic acid. As a result, most of organic acid has characteristics of insoluble phosphate salts slolubilization of insoluble phosphate salts. The growth of P. agglomerans was different from initial pH changes, and shows maximum growth at pH 7. When P. agglomerans grown in the HY medium containing potassium dihydrogenphosphate as phosphate source, it consumed 300mg/L-361mg/L phosphate. In the HY medium during P. agglomerans cultivation, 465mg/L of phosphate was solubilized for 48hrs. And when used rock phosphate as insoluble phosphate salts, solubilized phosphate amount was 86.09mg/L. In the case of being used immobilized P. agglomerans, 740mg/L of phosphate was solubilized in the HY medium during 120hrs. And 182mg/L of phosphate was solubilized when rock phosphate was added instead of hydroxyapatite. In the case of culture of P. agglomerans on constant medium pH, phosphate was produced 357mg/L after 18hrs. And in the case of culture of immobilzed P. agglomerans bead, phosphate was produced maximum 295.6mg/L after 120hrs. Also as using rock phosphate as insoluble phosphate salts, phosphate was respectably produced 190.3 and 195.2mg/L after 36hrs at free cells and immobilized cells. In our experiments, the using soils contained 23.16g-P/kg-soil total phosphate and 3.76g-P/kg-soil soluble phosphate. The result of 1g immobilized bead seeding, soluble phosphate was produced maximum 6.14g-P/kg-soil phosphate and this value was increased continuously. This experimental results shows the possibility of using as biofertilizer, which convert insoluble inorganic phosphate salts to plant-usable phosphate type by immobilized microorganism with calcium alginate.
