The purpose of the study intending to phenomenon is trying to open positive influence and possibility of experience of art therapy for Elementary school-aged siblings of pervasive developmental disorder. This is contributed to basic research form and a development of art therapy program. This study observed with each child's eyes what they have been experienced and what their experience's meaning through art therapy. This study also offer to understand deeply meaning of their experience as knowing. The subjects of the study were the middle class of six siblings of pervasive developmental disorder attending from 2nd to 4th graded in Elementary school in Seoul and stressing by brother and sister. They took 12 sessions art therapy activity for 60 minutes once a week from January to April. The researcher was observed and analyzed each sessions into 4 parts divided to initial stage by 1, 2, 3 sessions, exploration by 4, 5, 6 sessions, execution by 7, 8, 9, and conclusion by 10, 11, 12 sessions. The data collection process was followed by narrative inquiry of Connelly and Clandinin(1990). Field notes based on interview, participant observation, art works, journal entries and diary. The conversations were began with open-ended question and were focused by specific questions more and more to understand subject of experience of their daily life. Field text was followed by narrative coding with repeated reading. After coding, the story of each participant was created re-story and leaded the meaning of experience as keeping the subject of questions of this research and social importance in view. As a result of analyzing experience of art therapy with Elementary School-aged siblings of Pervasive Developmental Disorders, the stories of 6 participants were as follows; 1. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Kim' , , , , , , , 2. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Lee' , , , , , , 3. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Park' , , , , , 4. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Choi' , , , , , , 5. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Yoo' , , , , , , 6. Experience of art therapy activity for 'Seo' , , , , , The meanings of experience of Art Therapy with those six children attending in Elementary School-aged Siblings of Pervasive Developmental Disorders are reorganized four kinds as follow: First, Feeling lonely as thinking my situation during drawing a picture Second, Being a bridge linking my mom and myself, and myself and my handicapped sibling to story with art works through art therapy activity Third, Getting satisfactory space from art therapy activity for myself only. Fourth, Comforting to have the peer participated in art therapy activity being same situation like my situation From the above result, the conclusion can be reached to three. First, art therapy activity offers a sense of sad and satisfaction at the same time. It means they can have a chance to various feeling by drawing and painting. Art therapy activity gets rid of stress by serving as a comparatively comfort medium from subject wanted to hide and a mental conflict to revealing and implementation after finishing art works accomplished can give self-confidence and ease off anxiety to a newness. Therefore, concealing various feelings by art therapy activity give emotional balance and lead them way to cure. Second, art therapy activity is a connector of 'I' and 'My family'. This means they have experienced of generally insight into family situation by art therapy activity. Although each member of family do themselves alone, we are family and inseparably relationship anyway. Accordingly they have a chance to think about relationship of family and conflict to understand in the progress of art therapy activity. Third, the peer in same painful situation who have art therapy activity give comfort and support. Even though they had not seen ever, only the reason that fellow sufferers have sympathy for each other gives comfort to them. Based on the above research result, the proposal of a general and comprehensive research is as follow. First, this research made up 12 sessions of art therapy activity but the most of participants started to open their feelings on 9-10 sessions. Accordingly, at the follow-up research to have more various statement by approaching their experience more specific and abundant is to be made out with more activity times for rapport and longer sessions. Second, for the future research about art therapy activity with siblings of Pervasive Developmental Disorders needs a group art therapy activity. On the individual art therapy activity, the participants were anxious to the peers who have art therapy activity because of loneliness and estrangement that cannot ask about siblings of PDDs and cannot share with others to keep a secret about their siblings of PDDs. Third, the follow-up research needs deep understanding about difference of experience by sex and type of Pervasive Developmental Disorders. The participants of this research are second to fourth grade pupils of the middle class who have 6 to 8 years old younger brother of Pervasive Developmental Disorders living in Seoul. On this research was limited to the participant's sex leaned toward sister and all the Pervasive Developmental Disorders were younger brother. Consequently, it can't completely rule out the possibility to generally understand siblings of Pervasive Developmental Disorders. You
