These days, art has been incessantly developing and going through trial and error. Sometimes the fine arts are felt as a very unfamiliar language owing to its overwhelming scale, quite unexpected materials and techniques, transience, sense of disgust, etc. To me, however, art is not an object for superficial enjoyment or pleasure but a sublime world of spirit. Therefore, it is identical with religion from several aspects, and there twinkles a truth in its inner world. 'Existence of a truth' means that there is an absolute core to construct the healing subject. The spiritual value of our life and art has been perishing gradually compared with the material value in the high degree of civilized society. Accordingly, healing of spirit desired from the inner world of human beings takes care of body and mind, with being much more required to cure the weary and injured mind. With this current of time, my works intended to express the healing image by untying the unseen inner world through the medium of pink and seed into figurative language of spirit. The theme of my works is 'healing of life', in which light was chosen as a subject of healing. The light was symbolized by color, while pink was drawn in the form of seed. Thus, the form and implication of both 'life' symbolized in the form of seed and pink which symbolizes 'healing' are divided and simultaneously correlated in the picture interdependently. The implication of each subject matter enables the goal of healing to be achieved by harmonizing two oppositional energies with neutralized coloring. From the subjective position, both life and healing exist as a mediator. Light is filtered in large numbers of mediators called as a spectrum to express pink between cold and heat as a color of healing. Seed, a coupler between death and life, materializes life as a mediatory medium. Through the works of installation art interpreting the gentle and free drawing technique adn plane drawing from many angles, an effort to search the expressional and material techniques of drawing was made in its way of expression. The picture, which is a background of drawing, expressed a vibration of light in the process of covering and erasing the dyestuff over time repeatedly, through which a form is seen dimly. This study aimed to materialize healing of life, 'light' which reflects it, 'pink' a color of healing, and 'seed' a form of pink, and to interpret the process of materialization in a figurative way. The question of this study which was developed with pink and seed as its subject matter and with 'healing into light' as a theme is how to express the content of light in the theme of 'healing' and develop a form which corresponds to the theme, focusing on the creative figurative arts.
