These days, the dance is growing drastically and we could say that it is the most rapidly changing area of the arts. Performances held these days are something which was inconceivable in the past and although they may look similar to the classical ballet performances, in fact, they have gone through drastic changes in style and expression. Especially, ballet has brought changes in techniques by introducing parody and this has affected the choreographers, dancers, as well as the audiences point of view. These changes have accumulated through generations and as a result, ballet, which was enjoyable but a mere entertainment, has become a form of art that is a match to music, play and fine arts in the sense that ballet is gradually appealing to and inspiring the audience. We cannot deny the fact that ballet is already a form of composite arts that is in the forefront of all the arts. In the flow of the times of dance like this, ballet has gone through changes and developments repeatedly and is now showing new techniques and expressionism. In order to open up a new generation of ballet, classical dance, which has been oppressed by modern dance challenges, has reevaluated and broken the fixed, rigid conventional forms at the level of life extension and existence, and this is revealed in many performances. The purpose of this study is to establish the direction of creative and future-oriented choreography of 21st century and to present the selection of various subjects and choreographical approach by reviewing the tendency of parody of modern ballet focusing on Swan Lake of Matthew Bourne and Giselle of Mats Eks to meet the needs and flow of the times. As a result, the following conclusion could be deduced. Firstly, it enlightened the seriousness of problem, which current society has, and represent the consciousness of criticism by expressing subject which has a deep interest in the actual problem. Secondly, it even required ideological revolution on sex from the classic ballet, which is expressing sex as a beautiful existence, by introducing love between the same sex which is direct, erotic and break from the conventional stereotypes. Thirdly, it tried to seek the diversity in the constructional aspects by combining modern factors drastically in the areas of the costumes, stage properties, movements and background scenes. As a result, it is understood that a work, properly reflecting current times, was created. Therefore, it presents a direction that a new genre of ballet, which contains a liberal ideas beyond the stereotyped fixed idea, should proceed in the sense that it has the factors that appeal and easily coming closer to the peoples heart in the times of mammonish age and obtained a support from the most of theater audiences even though parody ballet is receiving severe criticism because parody ballet is the imitation of classic ballet.
