The 'Cambaroides similis' used in the study was randomly collected from January to October, 2005; 260 from Boryeong, Chungnam, 260 from Goesan, Chungbukand 263 from Gunsan, Jeonbuk, and the females of incubation were collected between April to June, 2005. Regarding the length by the collection areas, it showed the distribution of 36mm in Gunsan, 40mm in Boryeong and 56mm in Ghungbuk while (male/female) sex ratio was 1:1 from the goodness-of-fit tests. The average numbers of eggs were 60.4, 55.9 and 49.9 in Goesan, Goryeong and Gunsan, respectively; the largest one was Goesan and the average egg diameters by areas were 2.44±0.27mm, 2.47±0.28mm and 2.51±0.29mm in Gunsan, Boryeong and Goesan, respectively; the largest one was Goesan. The test results of significance for relative growth of male/female by regions were as follows. The significance test results showed that there were no significant difference in the 3 areas between male and female for the carapace length, abdominal somites and claw length. Also, the significance test results of body length for the claws male and female showed that there was significance in Boryeong and Goesan and there was no significance in Gunsan. In addition, there was significance in the 3 areas as a result of the significance test results for the claw length of male and female in the 3 areas. The significance test results for the weight of male and female showed that there was no significance in the 3 areas. The test results of significance for relative growth by regions wereas follows. The significance test results showed that there were no significant difference in the 3 areas for the carapace length, abdominal somites and claw length. Also, the significance test results of body length for the claws showed that for female, there was significance between Gunsan and Boryeong, and Gunsan and Goesan and that for male, there was significance between Boryeong and Goesan. In addition, it was shown in the significance test results of the relative growth of claw that for female, there was significance between and among the 3 areas and that for male, there was significance between Gunsan and Goesan. As a result, it was found that the reason why the relative growths of Cambaroides similis by areas were different was because inhabitation environment and feed were not same by areas.
