Isopropyl-Alcohol/2-Methoxy Ethanol의 혼합 용매를 사용하여 합성 한 고분자 입자들이 분산도 및 크기 특성이 더욱 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

Monodisperse polymer particles incorporated with polyimide prepolymer(BANI-M), designed as possible particle for Anisotropic Conductive Film, were prepared from formulations containing a mixed solvent of isopropanol/2-methoxyethanol, isopropanol/toluene, AIBN, and poly-n-vinylpyrrolidone(PVP K-30) at 343K. Addition of a small amount of L-ascorbic acid(AA) un expectedly provided monodisperse polymer particle in an ordinary dispersion polymerization process. Explained comparison by the FE-SEM micrograph to observe the morphology and average size and distribution of polymer particles. Also, using Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) it was to investigate the thermal properties and degree of crosslinking particles. The average particle size was decreased as increasing solubility parameter of co-solvent but the Geometric Standard Deviation (GSD) of polymer particle was 2.2 compared to 1.3 obtained low solubility parameter with only isopropanol. The average particle size was increased as increasing AIBN concentration and the GSD of polymer particle was 2.2 compared to 1.6 obtained without of AIBN The average particle size was decreased as increasing PVP K-30 concentration but the GSD of polymer particle was 2.2 compared to 1.4 obtained the presence of PVP K-30 The average particle size was decreased by the addition of AA. The GSD of particle was 2.2 compared to 3.0 obtained without the presence of AA. The average particle size was decreased as increasing concentration of BANI-M but GSD of polymer particle was 2.9 compared to 2.8 obtained without BANI-M. also the glass transition temperature (Tg) was increasing as a increasing BANI-M concentration. Key words: Dispersion Polymerization; Polystyrene; L-ascorbic acid; BANI-M; monodispersity; Toluene
