The former studies, about the cultural physical education performed until now, are mainly the promotion plan, revitalization, management realities; the problems, attitude survey, the surveys, about participation motive and class satisfaction are progressed recently, but the concrete relation studies, between two variations, are lacked.
Accordingly, the investigator considered that the relation study, the effect that the students' class-participation motive has on class satisfaction, is needful, the necessity is to present the right direction of the present university-cultural athletics by analyzing the participation motive and class satisfaction.
The targets of this study are 320 students, K·S university in Seoul, from 2007.12.10 to 2007. 1. 3, and research analysis was conducted, using questionnaire. Total 320 copies were distributed, the object of the student, of the returned questionnaires, 289 copies, except for unfaithful 31 copies, became the target of final analysis.
To analyze the collected data, using SPSS 12.0.K Version&AMOS 5.0, Frequency Analysis·Cronbach's alpha·Confirmatory factory analysis were achieved and T-test·One way ANOVA·Standard multiple regression were conducted.
As the result of belief verification-questions, about participation motive & class satisfaction of cultural-gym lesson, the detail-lower factors of participation motive: tech development(α=.888), fellowship (α=.886), pleasure (α=.896), strength (α=.796), ostentation (α=.803) and the factors of class satisfaction: body&soul (α=.906), education (α=.891), society (α=.888), environment (α=.855), break (α=.879) showed relatively high. The deducted results are as follows.
Firstly, the participation motive has (+) effect on body&soul satisfaction.
Secondly, the participation motive has (+) effect on educational satisfaction.
Thirdly, the participation motive has (+) effect on social satisfaction.
Fourthly, the participation motive has (+) effect on environmental satisfaction.
Fifthly, the participation motive has (+) effect on break satisfaction.
This study's conclusions & suggestion points are as follows.
Firstly, by actually analyzing the effect and causal relationship that the participation motive has on class satisfaction, this study is to systemize theoretical basis of relation study and present the direction of following study.
The existing-relation studies are most of promotion plan, revitalization, operation&the problems, the attitude survey, the studies, understanding the relationship between participation motive and class satisfaction, were insufficient.
As a result, based on existing studies' achievements, this study is to reflect the speciality of class satisfaction, develop theoretical meaning, understand participation motive and each factor organizing participation motive & class satisfaction systematically, and compare relative effects among factors.
Secondly, this is to present suggestion point and practice plan, a level of operation to improve the satisfaction and quality. By understanding the effect that the participation motive has on class satisfaction, this emphasized the necessity of program's development and supply for university student.
And, by understanding the action of class satisfaction, the relation experts were to prepare constant-development plan to foster gym class in university and class-improvement plan by leading students' positive participation
