(Inbody3.0 & Inbody720) differences between BIA equipments to verify errors in measuring body composition by body characteristics (Inbody3.0 & Inbody720)원문보기

The purpose of this study is to review a reliability and to provide a basic data for accurate estimation of users through difference between equipments using BIA. Subjects of this study were recruited 363 men who were 20-30 aged and were divided by normal group(height:169.42±8.04, weight:65.83±12.73, age:24.70±5.54, BMI:22.79±3.19) and exercise group(hieight:175.70±7.27, weight:75.21±15.59, age:22.53±2.46, BMI:24.95±3.85). The BIA analyzers used two version(Inbody3.0 & Inbody720), they were measured two times each version to evaluate the reliability within equipments and to analyze difference between equipments. Statistics method used pearson's correlation and paired t-test to analyze reliability of repeated measurement and difference results of equipments. Statistical significance was set at p<.05. The results were as follows. 1. Results of repeated measurement between Inbody3.0 and Inbody720 on normal group indicated significantly statistical differences at TBW(p<.001***), SLM(p<.001***), WHR(p<.001***), TBW(p<.05**) and exercise groups presented significant differences at all of variable(TBW, SLM, FFM, %BF, WHR) within equipments. 2. Result of repeated measurement between Inbody3.0 and Inbody720 on BMI level(normal group), standard groups showed significant differences at SLM(p<.001***),WHR(p<.001***) and obesity group showed significant differences at TBW(p<.001***), %BF(p<.001***). 3. Result of repeated measurement between Inbody3.0 and Inbody720 on BMI level(exercise group), standard group indicated significant differences at TBW(p<.001***), SLM(p<.001***), FFM(p<.001***), %BF(p<.001***), WHR(p<.001***) and obesity group presented significant differences at SLM(p<.001***), FFM(p<.001***), %BF(p<.001***), TBW(p<.05*). Combining the above results, on the whole, the exercise groups had larger error than the normal groups. The exercise groups were high error rate than the normal groups in SLM and %BF. These results indicated that there was restrictive subjects covers when it was developed. Also, this study concerned that there were error rate between M1 and M2 in repeated mesurement and although developed at same company, it should be provide a error rate as kind of equipments if it's version is difference to use database.
