Also, when those kinds of materials are combined using symbolism, I found out that we can create a new shape by using specials characteristics in composition, color and line of the folk painting. These characteristics are folk paintings’ distinctive fundamental composition and we see that they start at fundamental symbolism. Through this research, we must realize the importance of our folk painting and see the possibility of creating a new modern style of painting with fundamental symbolism, having ethnicity and tradition, from folk paintings in the Joseon Dynasty period.
