In order to study properties of the variation of the infrared emission of long period variables, we have collected and analyzed the infrared observational data at K, L, M band for 13 long period variables. We obtained the observation data for about 30 years including recent observation of 2MASS, DENIS, ISO and Spitzer. We obtained the light curves by normalization of collected data. We use Marquardt-Levenberg algorithm to determine the pulsation period and amplitude for each star and compare them with previous results of infrared and radio investigations. The determined pulsational parameters are similar to previous works, and have a smaller error range. We obtain the relationship between the pulsation periods and the amplitudes at K, L, M band. The period-amplitude relationship for each band is fairly well fitted to a linear equation. The stars with long periods have generally larger amplitudes than the short period stars. It seems that the water vapor absorption at 1.9 and 2.9 m and CO absorption at 2.3 m produced in the photosphere and expanded envelope of the central stars make this trend. There is no difference of the trends in the short and long period regions in the L and M band. We discuss the L band parameters with the IRAS [12-25] colors. The correlation between period and IRAS color is the results of dust shell driven by stellar pulsation. For the large scatter in the correlation, this can be explained by existence of distribution of central stars with various evolutionary phases, masses and pulsation modes
