Evaluation of Deformation Characteristics for Geotechnical Materials Using Hybrid Integration of Resistivity and Surface-Wave Velocity원문보기

HiRAS(Hybrid Integration of Resistivity and Surface-Wave Velocity) 기법이라고 하였으며, 표면파 탐사로는 CapSASW(Common Array Profiling SASW)기법과 전기비저항 탐사로는 SC(Surface wave Comparable Pole-Dipole) 배열을 HiRAS 기법의 두 개 축으로 삼았다.

Recently, with the advancement in scientific technology, measuring equipment and analysis techniques have had remarkable growth, accordingly, the part of physical prospecting shows dramatical development as a major breakthrough in underground visualization technology.
In construction market, it is required for precision ground investigation to save construction costs through the accurate estimation of physical properties.
However, information which is provided by physical prospecting for site investigation is still indirect, qualitative and low reliability. It is because a single technique is fragmentary, and it stays in the overlay level even applying with different kinds of exploration. For the fundamental solution of these problems, it is necessary to combine and merge methods of physical prospecting which has different properties. Furthermore, a general plan from hybrid physical prospecting is needed for final properties, that is a soil deformation characteristic. Thus, the hybrid physical prospecting would be obviously an alternative plan over current methods.
In this study, non-crustic exploration which is proper for a complicated analysis that is not enough with using a single technique was proposed as practically using both the intelligence of resistivity and surface wave velocity, simultaneously. In addition to this, correlations between Resistivity and P-wave velocity were figured out by using the water content ratio, and hybrid physical integrations were developed on the basis of this correlation developed above. Therefore, the Hybrid Iteration Integration based on the correlation was differentiated from the previous related studies.
The hybrid integration in this study is called HiRAS(Hybrid Integration of Resistivity and Surface-Wave Velocity), on the basis of both CapSASW(Common Array Profiling SASW) and SC(Surface wave Comparable Pole-Dipole) as the main axis.
The field tests were conducted to check up the application of HiRAS Integration and reliability. Applied fields are consist of saturated salt water, soft ground, sedimentary natural ground, horizontal cubic inhomogeneity soil by artificial consolidation, landfill in urban area and bedrock layer.
The correlations were figured out from the applied field tests at each soil layer, and the interrelationship between resistivity and P-wave velocity was proposed.
As a results of that HiRAS iteration integration applied to the analysis of the field tests, there was convergence after 3 times repetitive tasks. From these analyses, it turns out that convergence of the iteration integration is fast and stable.
It was obtained that the shear-wave velocity profiles based on HiRAS in comparison with the surface wave exploration was improved, and the poisson`s ratio of 2-Dimensional profile which is impossible at single integration explorations was visualized.
Through using the poisson`s ratio of 2-Dimensional profile, it was possible for the estimation of deformation characteristics in soil, analysis of consolidation in artificial consolidated soil and weak rock range in rock to find the desired outcome easily.
