The purpose of this study is to learn effects of the woodcraft on the job adaption ability of the intellectually disabled. As the subjects of the study were selected 3 high school students of the special school, whose MDS (The Macarron Dial System) test result grade was more than 65 points. The study procedure was consisted of the pre-screening - application of program - post-test: The changes in the five sub-elements of WPP ? independent performance ability, the job performance in the group, the ability to respond to the authority, appropriate cross-relationship with peers, and understanding of job etiquette rules were examined using a work personality Profile(WPP) personality profile as the research tool. Conclusions obtained from the results of this study are as follows: First, the woodcraft made a positive impact on the independent performance ability among the job adaption ability of intellectually disabled. The required things in operations were accepted and done properly, instructions and corrections were carefully heard and an improved method was maintained. When the subject didn?t know how to perform the task appropriately, or he is not sure, he requested instruction from the directors. Being intimate with others, he got sociable skills, and working efficiency has been increased Second, the woodcraft made a positive impact on the job performance in the group among the job adaption ability of intellectually disabled. The satisfaction with director and anxiety were well talked about, the appropriate interpersonal relationships with director were formed, and what is involved in the job and the relationship with colleagues were well consulted. Third, the woodcraft made a positive impact on the ability to respond to the authority among the job adaption ability of intellectually disabled. They were attentive to personal hygiene and appearance, in the work environment through the interactions with management employees the change of a desirable positive attitude has been brought. Fourth, the woodcraft made a positive impact on the appropriate interaction with colleagues among the job adaption ability of intellectually disabled. They performed their work steadily over the full working time and repetitive job tasks were performed without resistance. And in spite of repetitive tasks discretionary quota and the excessive amount of job changes were well accepted. They were able to solve their own mistakes, were ready to accept a new job easily, and when new challenges and duties were given, they performed them without any complaint. Fifth, the woodcraft made a positive impact on the understanding of job etiquette rules among the job adaption ability of intellectually disabled. In group work, as they accommodated it comfortably, completed the task, and helped the work of colleagues when they failed to fulfill a quota, and expressed their feelings appropriately.
