On this research, some experiments and analysis have been done on heavy metal concentration of contaminated soil by particle sizes, sized distribution, pH, organic content, wet substance, and ORP (Oxidation- Reduction Potential) to clean off the Lead(Pb) contaminated soil in using soil washing method.
In process of soil washing method, three ways were used
a. the combination of water-washing and acid-washing
b. the combination of water-washing and micro-nano bubble(MNB)
c. the combination of acid-washing and micro-nano bubble(MNB)
The results are as follows
1. The soil on this research was Pb-contaminated one which contains high-density of silt loam by particle size distribution.
2. In case of the combination of water-washing and micro-nano bubble in process of soil washing; The removal efficiency rate of Pb by time period appears 10% in advance of general washing method.
3. In case of acid-washing, based on 30mins by time period in process of soil washing;
As the density increases, the removal rate grows up as well. However, as the washing time goes by, there is not any big difference in removal rate.
4. As a result, the removal efficiency rate appears higher when using the combination of acid-washing and micro-nano bubble than when using acid-washing only.
In my conclusion, it can be applied to the non-degradable contaminated soil as well as the soil with lots of silt. The combination will be more efficient to be used to clean off the heavy metal contaminated soil.
