Cracking in concrete structure has a significant influence role in durability and strength properties. Especially, dry shrinkage cracking causes the reduction of concrete strength, increasing crack width, and structural problem. To solve these problems in concrete structure, the use of fiber reinforced concrete has become increased. In this study, newly developed amorphous steel fibers are used to control dry shrinkage crack in experiments and the characteristics of amorphous steel fiber reinforced concrete were investigated using theoretical analysis. To evaluate the basic performance of amorphous steel fiber reinforced, free dry shrinkage tests were performed. In addition, restrained dry shrinkage of slabs tests were conducted under the condition of fiber volume fraction 0.2%. 1) The results of crack widths did not satisfy structural design criteria proposed in all slabs. Crack widths exceeded about 0.3mm. 2) Control performance of crack did not match between 0.2% fiber volume and 0.2% steel reinforced. 3) Reinforced shrinkage temperature structural design criteria suggested that the minimum reinforcement ratio of 0.2% of all members of all cases can not be satisfied that the 0.3mm can be estimated. 4) Crack width prediction model is currently being performed slab restraint drying shrinkage experiments that were being yielded by the lack of crack control reinforcement of all specimens was evaluated.
