As humankind is getting intellectual, the use of energy has steeply been increasing and the attention to energy has been getting much higher as the depletion of oil is coming to reality. To step along with these attentions, changes in the electric power energy are needed and Smart Grid, the fusion of electric power technology and IT technology, is emerging. Applying factors of Smart Grid to the existing system of electric power needs to be verified through operation in the basis of information provided from the actual system. However, in reality, after the factor system of Smart Grid is developed, it takes much time to demonstrate its safety until the factor system gets put into the actual system. In order to solve these problems, the electric power field is looking for a solution by introducing Simulation. However, because the existing simulations of electric power field are not designed to consider Smart Grid, it is limited to one or few models such as decentralized power supply model and customized model that are applied to the actual system, which makes it difficult to be examined with diverse comparison. In the case of applying to the actual system, there are limitations of verification on the system of information transfer and the responses depending on the scenario. To overcome these limitations, similar information based on the actual system information can be offered and there should be a material that can connect to the electric field system. This instrumental system should be constructed by unit that can be connected directly to the communication network for the operation of the existing electric power system and should be designed to restructure and operate the structure of the entire electric power system in a virtual space. Based on these purposes, the model suggested in this study is designed and embodied to be able to create an electric power system similar to reality in a virtual space and to be able to add factor model simulators realized through modeling about independent factor models (customer, decentralized power supply, climate, etc.) to the virtual system. To integrate each of the independent simulators, simulator systems are hierarchically divided and linked and Data Bus is designed to secure their linkage and expandability. I call this integrated simulation platform Smart Grid Simulator(SGSim). I have arranged the results from the linkage test of the independent simulators based on a scenario through SGSim embodied on this design. The result shows the possibility of sequent simulation through the linkage of simulators which seemed difficult to be seen in the existing simulator. It also shows that the possibility of development would be high if the further study and algorithms are added through differentiation with other simulators currently under investigation.
