These days, it is one of the most important educational task to improve the quality and the practice for utilize the information & communication technology, for the new generation growing in which, goes rapidly to the knowledge-information oriented society. This study figures out the current status and problem of information & communication ethics education at the specialized high schools around Jin-ju, and suggests reasonable and effective measure for the better information & communication ethics education . In order to figure out the idea, necessity, direction and dysfunction of the information & communication ethics education, advanced research data and related documents were reviewed and for the practical research method, a survey was conducted to 1st grader students from specialized high-school. * A thesis submitted to the Committee of the Graduate School of Education. Gyeongsang National University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master's degree of Education in July, 2014 This study conducted a survey with 296 female students from specialized high schools in Jin-ju area, and it was analyzed based on questionnaire -ⅳ- which received from them. Also, Pre-test was conducted in advance to 30 students for modification and revision of survey contents. Followings are result of the study and it suggests improvement scheme for information & communication ethics education. First of all, securing the time of education for information & communication ethics should be prioritized at the school in order to educate students systemically. According to the survey, students were not aware of whether they have learned the information & communication ethics while in the school. Furthermore, even there was a related chapter in the computer textbook, the scope were limited to only 2~3 pages. The information & communication ethics education shall practically be educated to the entire students, thus it is desirable to expand its operation time for the information & communication ethics. Secondly, the result of the survey shows that in order students to build up the proper awareness for information & communication ethics, teachers who have degree in related area shall be hired and to be secured for the education. Also, specialized teachers should participate in training courses continuously for students as well. Lastly, teaching-learning methods which high-school students can approach easily in a various way should be developed. The most effective methods would be; let organizations and institutes which are connected to the subject to list the facts of information ethics and issue it to each family and school, moreover, teachers to guide at school and parents to guide at home with students in a mutual cooperated way would be another options. Educating the students the information & communication ethics shall enhance the cautiousness of individual and recognition of society. Also it can lead ability to utilize information in a positive way so which will help students to grow up as one of the desirable leader in the information-oriented society.
