This dissertation is an analysis on the antibacterial and antioxidant effects of rose flowers Lonicera japonica, Rosa multiflora and Rosa hybrida. Recently, a report on a wide range of natural preservatives and method of use have been made for the purpose of the functional cosmetics antibacterial, antioxidant and a natural product, and whitening is made active studies related to skin
aging inhibition, Lonicera japonica, Rosa multiflora and Rosa hybrida compared with the known effects of antioxidant, antibacterial studies on the situation in the country is not much. Therefore, analyzing the antibacterial and antioxidant effects of Lonicera japonica, Rosa multiflora and Rosa hybrida were to propose a basis for functional cosmetics.
Used in the experiment, Lonicera japonica, Rosa multiflora and Rosa hybrida was used to purchase domestically extracted with methanol and ethanol deposited by four weeks. Each extract was concentrated and the precipitate using a filter paper to remove the back pressure distillation apparatus was used for the experiment. Total polyphenol content was quantified using the Folin-Denis method was used for the standard curve was tannicacid. The total flavonoid content was performed using the calibration curve method was used in the Davis naringin (sigma, USA). DPPH radical scavenging activity was measured on the basis of the degree of decrease of the absorbance for DPPH (a, a-diphenyl-picrylhydrazyl) reducing power of each test material by electron donating effect of the control of the extract . Antimicrobial activity assay staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis, Corynebacterium ammoniagenes, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogens total six selected strains were tested using the Paper disk method.
Experimental results total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content was extracted from the methanol solvent extraction more DPPH radical scavenging activity also exhibited the same pattern. Also, the higher the concentration of the additive showed a higher activity. The antibacterial activity of Rosa hybrida in Corynebacterium ammoniagenes, Rosa multiflora in Bacillus subtilis showed good inhibitory response in the P. aeruginosa. Lonicera japonica was plain. Eotneunde exhibited similar antimicrobial activity in the extract and the methanol extract Ethanol , Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacillus subtilis, showed a strong antibacterial activity in Escherichia coli strain.
Through this, Lonicera japonica, Rosa multiflora and Rosa hybrida is considered to be utilized as an antioxidant and a natural beauty and future functional food material by using a natural antioxidant derived from plant extracts, more than was found that as a natural anti-bacterial function.
