A study on the Relationship between the Third Party Logistics Service Quality and the Shipper’s Logistics Performance in China: focused on Shandong Province Fang Jinhong Department of Distribution Management Graduate School of Hyupsung University Advisor:Kim,WoomgJin In recent years, with the expansion of Chinese domestic consumer market and the rapid growing trend of foreign trade, the logistics industry obtains room for development and maintains an overall stable developing trend. At the same time, against the backdrop of changing market and competitive environment, 3PL industry becomes increasingly prominent in China’s logistics industry with its ever expanding scale and scope of services. This study, by means of analyzing the relationship between logistics service quality and the logistics achievements of cargo owner enterprises, aims to enhance 3PL customer service as well as the core competitiveness of enterprises. Based on existing research, this study builds up research model and research hypothesis. Through questionnaire survey and data collection centered on Shandong enterprises with 3PL services, this study carries out data analysis and research hypothesis testing on the ground of 209 valid questionnaires. The unary linear regression result of 3PL enterprise service quality composition variables for the cargo owner enterprise logistics achievements shows: Information quality, Delivery quality, Timeliness and other factors can exert significant positive impact on the financial results of the cargo owner enterprises; while Information quality, Timeliness, Tangible, Order efficiency and other factors have significant positive impact on the non-financial results of cargo owner enterprises. Meanwhile, the multiple linear regression result of 3PL enterprise service quality composition variables for the cargo owner enterprise logistics achievements shows: Information quality, Timeliness, Order efficiency and other factors can exert significant positive impact on the financial results of the cargo owner enterprises; while Information quality, Timeliness, Tangible, Order efficiency and other factors have significant positive impact on the non-financial results of cargo owner enterprises.
