As recognition of service at skin care shops has been popularized, all people began to have opportunities to take skin care that used to belong to limited persons. Those shops were managed just through skin care in the past, but companies got to be involved in fierce competition, as the management system has become wide to spas (such as hotel spas, medical spas, resort spas and day spas), medical skin care stores and Oriental medicine skin care stores. As more and more skin care shops have been created, companies have been competing to provide better service and those that were not competitive naturally have disappeared. In consequence, skin care stores had to provide high-quality and high-level service to customers in order to be successfully operated and to try to offer various customized service following customers' needs. These stores also had to analyze all factors affecting service provided as visible and invisible values to improve service quality, in order to satisfy customers and make all efforts to make continuous development. Service quality, a main object of concerns in the service industry, is composed of essential tasks to improve customer satisfaction and to expand corporate profits. Studies on service quality have been greatly developed by Para Suraman, Zeithamal & Berry (hereinafter referred to as PZB) and division of service quality has been more materialized with Oliver's expectation-disconfirmation model. Oliver's study explains cognitive processes of customer satisfaction and this paradigm shows a degree of disconfirmation between customers' expectation about perceived products and products that are actually provided. People visiting skin care stores with expectation tend to experience disconfirmation between actual service quality (counseling, techniques, price, administration) of skin care shops. Types of disconfirmation in the expectation-disconfirmation theory are divided into positive disconfirmation and negative disconfirmation. Positive disconfirmation is about a case that customers are satisfied with perceived results as high as their expectation. Negative disconfirmation is about a case that customers are not satisfied with perceived results as low as their expectation. For this study, efforts were made to treat specific alternatives through being focused on negative disconfirmation to improve negative disconfirmation of service quality happening at skin care stores and to prevent customer defection as much as possible. Skin care stores began to think that they had to secure existing customers through satisfying complaining customers and to reduce situations causing customer inconvenience through understanding factors of unsatisfaction taking place in the process of improving service quality for new customers and compensating for them. Most of existing studies which are about service quality and customer satisfaction mention positive disconfirmation and negative disconfirmation, but there still are few studies about negative disconfirmation. This study was carried out to analyze the degree of compensation satisfaction felt by customers when compensation satisfaction was raised about customers who experienced negative disconfirmation of service quality, based on contents regarding negative disconfirmation proposed in Oliver's expectation-disconfirmation model. Negative disconfirmation of service quality at those skin care stores has been improved to provide proper service to customers with an aim to improve service quality and systemize compensation programs. Besides, an analysis will be conducted about their effects on compensation satisfaction when skin care stores use service scape and human service as mediators to be proposed as basic data for development of the industry. As measuring instruments of this study which are processes for accuracy, preliminary surveys were executed. For preliminary surveys, questionnaires were given to 30 women using small skin care stores in the Metropolitan area for two months from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30 of 2014. For main surveys, a total of 460 copies of questionnaires were distributed to female customers who experienced negative disconfirmation of service quality of skin care stores for two months from March 2 to May 30 of this year. Out of them, 130 copies, 60 from women with no such experience and 70 from those with improper replies were excluded and remaining 330 copies were used as final data. Data was analyzed using SPSSWIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs. Details of this study can be summarized as following. First, about 61.5%, the largest number, users of skin care shops were aged 21-30 in general. About 73.3% of them were unmarried, 48.5% of them were students and 46.1% of them were college students or graduates. Regarding types of using those shops, about 40.0% of respondents were acquiring related information from others, 43.0% were using ordinary skin care stores, 40.6% spent less than 30-50 thousand won for one skin care and 27.0% visited those stores once every month. About 47.9% thought 'cleanliness' as the most important part in service scape. About 50.3% thought 'professionalism of skin care specialists' as the most important part in human service. About 42.7% considered 'techniques' as the most important part in inappropriate service. Second, results of verification of the hypotheses of this study are as follows. Hypothesis 1 that negative disconfirmation of service quality will have significant effects on service scape was adopted. This means that higher negative disconfirmation (counseling, techniques, price, administration) of service quality leads to higher satisfaction with service scape (spatial accessibility, aesthetics, cleanliness, comfort, administration). Hypothesis 2 that negative disconfirmation of service quality would significantly affect human service also was adopted. It was found that skin care shop users' higher negative disconfirmation of service quality would lead
