The purpose of this study was to examine the author's 11 painting works, among 23 works produced since the year of 2014, of which contents were to overcome the human psychology of anxiety through nature. The analytic content of works were the outcomes of the author's view of the world presented by the symbolism of flower images. In addition, the author's painting works seemed to be a process to find out and develop the author's future identity which was added by symbolic emotion as well as pictoriality. Painting works in a period present the emotion and psychology of all the people and the reality of contemporary society. In this vein, it seems to be possible to reinterpret natural materials through works, give life and meaning to it, and reproduce its beauty, thus providing psychological stability to human beings.
In order to re-apply the author's emotions, felt from natural images, to the works, and then deliver it emotionally and visually, the author tried to maximize the life force of objects through spatial expansion and described it close to the essence of nature, thus expressing it beautifully.
By giving life to natural images through artificial restructuring based on shamanism and learning and making visitors have the sense of psychologic stability, the close relationship between man and nature was highlighted and its symbolism and meaning were intensively examined.
The fact that the author did not use primary colors but soft colors was in line with the author's intention not to stimulate human psychology, to make human beings have stable images, and to express symbolic meanings.
In order to maximize lyrical expressions, natural perspectives and pictorial flows were induced through the blank of canvas and realistic reproduction. In order to alleviate the anxious psychology of modern society, the image of nature and the sense of beauty were expressed intactly, and in order to maximize symbolism, soft colors were used frequently. Through this study, the author understood that the identity of works to which added are not only symbolism and emotion but also pictoriality must be found out.
