연구의 목적은 유아의 당 저감화를 위한 프로그램의 개발과 효과평가를 실시했다. 단맛 영양지식, 단맛 식태도, 단맛 식행동, 단맛 급원식품을 사전․사후 설문 조사를 하였고, 2016년 3월 8일부터 4월 1일까지 4주간 영양교육을 실시하였다. 서울시 도봉구 소재 유아를 대상으로 교육군(N=59), 비교육군(N=40)으로 실시하였고, 조사결과는 SPSS 22로 통계분석 하였다. 단맛에 대한 영양지식은 교육군에서 유의하게 증가하였고(p<0.05), 비교육군은 유의하게 감소하였다(p<0.01). 단맛 식태도에서 교육군은 유의하게 감소하였고(P<0.05), 비교육군은 유의하지 않았다. 단맛 식행동에서 교육군은 유의하게 감소하였고(P<0.05), 비교육군에서 유의하게 감소하였다(P<0.01). 단맛 급원식품 섭취량의 변화는 두 그룹에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 단맛 급원 식품으로는 발효유류, 단빵류, 과자류, 초콜렛, 시리얼, 가공음료, 단맛우유, 양념치킨, 떡볶이 순으로 나타났다. 4주 단기간의 영양교육과 부모의 적극적인 참여가 부족한 한계점을 갖고 있고, 단맛 영양교육은 단맛 영양지식, 단맛 식태도에서 변화를 일으켰다.

The purpose of this study was to development and evaluation the nutrition education program on reducing sugar intake in preschool children. The nutritional knowledge, dietary attitude, dietary behavior and food intake on sweet taste were tested before and after 4 weeks from March 8 to April 1 in 2016 nutrition education in preschool children. The preschool children were recruited in Dobong-Gu, Seoul. The subjects were divided in to two groups; educated(N=59) and non-educated group(N=40). Statistical analysis were performed using SPSS 22. The nutritional knowledge about sweet tasting food was significantly increased(p<0.01) in educated group and significantly decreased (p<0.01) in non-educated group. The dietary attitude toward sweet tasting food was significantly decreased(p<0.05) in educated group but not significantly changed in non-educated group. The dietary behavior toward sweet tasting food was significantly decreased (p<0.05) in educated group and was significantly decreased(psweetened breads > cookies/biscuits > chocolate > beverages > cereals > sweetened milk > sweet spicy chicken > Tteokbokki. Although there are some limitations in this study, due to the short length of the nutrition education and lack of active participation by the parents, the results suggest that effective nutrition education on sweet tasting food can bring about changes in nutritional knowledge as well as the dietary attitude.
