본 연구의 목적은 부모의 유소년스포츠클럽 선택 동기가 참여만족에 미치는 영향을 규명하며 유소년스포츠클럽을 운영하는 경영자에게 실질적 구매자인 학부모에 대한 정보를 제공받아 보다 질 높은 프로그램의 다양화와 부모상담에 대한 기초 자료 제공 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기위하여 2016년 3월 1일부터 30일까지 한 달간에 거쳐 광주광역시에 소재한 5곳에서 유소년스포츠클럽을 다니고 있는 수강생의 학부모를 모집단으로 선정한 후 유목적 표집법을 이용하여 250명의 표본을 추출하여 설문조사 하였다. 이 중 불성실하게 답변되었거나 무응답 등 신뢰성이 떨어진 40부를 제외한 210부를 최종 자료로 SPSS 23.0 version 프로그램을 사용하여 자료 분석 목적에 따라 전산 처리하였다. 자료처리 방법으로는 일원변량분석, 기술통계, 중다회귀분석, 요인분석을 실시하였고, Cronbach’s 계수를 산출하여 조사도구의 신뢰성을 살펴보았고, 조사 대상자의 특성에 따른 각 요인별 차이를 보기 위해 t-test 및 ANOVA를 실시하였으며 사후검증으로(Scheffe)를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 성별, 연령, 운동 선호도, 자녀 학년, 자녀의 스포츠 참여기간에 따른 선택 동기 차이를 분석한 결과 연령, 참여기간, 자녀 학년에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 20~30대와 40~50대에서 외적동기에서 차이가 나탔으며, 자녀 학년에서는 1~2학년 집단과 5~6학년집단에서 내적동기와 무동기에서 차이가 나타났다. 또한 자녀의 스포츠 참여기간에 따라 3년 이상 집단과 6개월 이상~1년 미만 집단은 내적동기가, 6개월 이상~1년 미만 집단과 3년 이상 집단에서 무동기에 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 성별, 연령, 운동선호도, 자녀 학년, 자녀의 스포츠 참여 기간에 따른 참여만족 차이를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 연령, 운동 선호도, 자녀의 스포츠 참여기간에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연령에서는 20~30대와 40~50대에서 시설·환경에 차이가 나타났으며, 운동선호도에 따라 참여만족은 시설·환경에서 차이가 나타났다. 또한 자녀의 스포츠 참여기간에 따라서 프로그램과 지도자, 비용에서 차이가 나타났다. 참여기간이 6개월 미만 과 3년 이상, 6개월 이상 과 1년 이상~ 3년 미만, 3년 이상에서, 1년 이상~ 3년 미만 과 6개월 이상~ 1년 미만, 3년 이상 과 6개월 미만, 6개월 이상~ 1년 미만에서 프로그램에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 6개월 미만 과 1년 이상~3년 미만, 3년 이상에서, 6개월 이상~ 1년 미만과 3년 이상, 1년 이상~3년 미만 과 6개월 미만, 3년 이상 과 6개월 미만, 6개월 이상~1년 미만에서는 지도자에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 비용은 6개월 미만과 3년 이상 집단에서 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 선택 동기의 하위 요인인 내적동기, 외적동기, 무동기에 따라 참여만족의 하위요인인 프로그램, 지도자, 시설·환경, 비용에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 내적동기, 외적동기, 무동기요인을 높게 인식할수록 프로그램과 비용에 정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 내적동기와 외적동기를 높게 인식 할수록 지도자와 시설·환경에 정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론을 종합해보면 유소년스포츠클럽의 선택 동기에 있어서 부모의 의사가 결정적 요인이라는 것을 주지해야 한다. 특히 연령이 높은 부모들 보다는 젊은 부모들에게서 유소년스포츠클럽을 선택하는 외적동기의 영향력을 더 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 자녀들의 학년에 따른 분석에서는 유소년스포츠클럽 참여에 자녀의 학년이 낮을수록 자율성, 사회성요인을 중요시여기는 부모의 의도가 높게 반영된다 볼 수 있으며, 자녀의 유소년스포츠클럽 참여 기간에 따라 자녀들의 흥미와 즐거움의 지속에 따라 부모의 선택에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모들은 유소년스포츠클럽 만족에 있어 시설·환경부분에 많은 관심을 가지고 있으며, 자녀들의 참여기간에 따라 유소년스포츠클럽의 프로그램, 지도자, 비용에 따라 만족에 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 부모들의 내적, 외적, 무동기를 높게 인식 할수록 유소년스포츠클럽의 프로그램과 비용에 만족도가 높으며 내적, 외적동기를 높게 인식 할수록 지도자와 시설·환경에 만족도가 높게 반영된다 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of parental choice motives of youth sports club on the participation satisfaction, and to follow this, information on parents who are the actual consumers were provided by the executives who manage the youth sports club for a higher quality of programs and provided basic data from parental consultations. To fulfill this purpose, for a month’s time from March 1st to 30th, 2016, the parents of students who attend a youth sports club in Kwang-ju City were selected and utilized for purposeful sampling; and after using self-assessment methods, 250 samples of surveys from people were extracted. From the following, excluding the 40 non-responsive, unreliable 40 answers, the finalized data of 210 samples were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 version program, and went through computer processing for a purpose. First, analyzing the differences of choice motives from parents’ demographic characteristics, gender, age, sports preference, grade of child to child’s span of sports participation; the results are shown in age, span of sports participation with statistically significant differences. Gender and sports preference indicated there were no statistically significant differences. From ages 20 to 30 and ages 40 to 50, the external motivation, a sub factor of the choice motives indicated a difference. In children’s groups from 1 to 2 and groups from 5 to 6, differences in internal motivation and no motivation were shown. From groups over 3 years and over 6 months and less than one year participation span showed internal motivation, from groups over 6 months to less than 1 year and groups over 3 years of participation span showed difference with no motivation. Second, following the characteristic of the parents’ demographic statistics, gender, age, sports preference, grade of child, child’s sports’ participation span showed a significant difference. Age and grade of child showed no significant difference. From ages 20 to 30 and 40 to 50 showed a difference in facilities and environment. Regarding satisfactory participation on sports preference showed a difference in facilities and environment. Following the span of participation, satisfactory participation showed a difference in program and instructor. For groups of less than 60 months and over 3 years, groups of over 6 years and less than one year to less than 3 years, over 3 years, over 1 year to less than 3 years and over 6 years to less than 1 year, over3 years and less than 6 months, over 6 months to less than one year of participation span showed a difference in program; less than 6 months and over 1 year, over 3 years, over 6 months to less than 1 year and over 3 years, over 1 year to less than 3 years and less than 6 months, over 3 years and less than 6 months, over 6 months to less than 1 year showed a difference in the instructor. Third, following a sub factor of choice motive, internal motivation, external motivation, and no motivation showed a significant difference resulting in an analysis of effects related to program, instructor, facilities and environment. In giving more recognition on internal motivation, external motivation and no motivation, the program and cost gave a positive influence and giving more recognition. On internal motivation and external motivation, the facilities and environment showed a positive influence. As a result of this study, There are two methods to enhance participation motivation, self-efficacy and life satisfaction among badminton club members. One is to motivate them. It is motivating the members internally and externally to attract positive participation from them.
