The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlations between education of organization and social support for the career employees and organizational socialization outcomes. For this purpose, this study reviewed various factors conducive to career employees’ organizational socialization to provide for some practical suggestions. To this end, the following study points were set up; First, what effects would education of organization and social support have on career employees’ job satisfaction? Secondly, what effects would education of organization and social support have on career employees’ organizational commitment? Thirdly, what effects would education of organization and social support on career employees’ turnover intention? In order to find the answers for the above questions, this study conducted an on-line questionnaire survey for those career employees who had been working for 5 years or shorter period. A total of 261 career employees responded to the survey. The independent variables were orientation program and job training, and peer support and supervisor support for the socialization. The dependent variables were the organizational socialization outcomes: such results of attitudes and adaptation as job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. Their adequacy was tested through factor analysis and reliability analysis. The control variables were gender, marital status, academic background, job, types of work, position, period of working for the current company, and scale of the business. The multiple regression analysis was performed to test the study points. The results of this study can be summed up as follows; First, it was found that education of organization and social support would have positive effects on job satisfaction. The factor of the social support that was most effective was supervisor support, followed by peer support, job training, and orientation program in their order. Secondly, it was found that education of organization and social support had positive effects on the organizational commitment. The most effective factor was supervisor support, followed by job training, peer support, and orientation program in their order. Thirdly, education of organization and social support had negative effects on turnover intention, but orientation program was not significantly correlated with the turnover intention. Hence, in order to lower the career employees’ turnover intention, supervisor support was most important, followed job training and peer support. Namely, education of organization and social support for the career employees would serve to enhance their job satisfaction and organizational commitment and suppress their turnover intention. In addition, supervisor support as a social support had the greatest effects on career employees’ job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention, which suggests that supervisor support would play the most important roles with regard to the organizational socialization outcomes. Based on the above findings, this study puts forwards some suggestions for implementation of HRD field as well as for the follow-up studies.
