This study is a elastic taping overlapped with the effects of electromagnetic in order to discover how to apply taping to osteoarthritis of knee patient, depending on the Pain and function ability, gait ability of patients, and to examine the resulting effects. The subjects being treated in hospital C were patients who met the osteoarthritis of knee selection criteria contained in the study. A total of 45 people met the criteria, with experimental group1 consisting of 15 patients and experimental group2 consisting of 15 patients. 15 patients were randomly assigned to the control group. Experimental group1 consisted of 15 patients, experimental group2 consisted of 15 patients, and the control group was divided into three groups of 15 patients. Three times a week for 8 weeks, the following occurred: the intervention of Electromagnetic therapy group (experimental group 1) and Electromagnetic therapy before the intervention of elastic taping group(experimental group 2) as well as plecebo Electromagnetic therapy being applied to the control group. An evaluation was made of the interventions before and with 4 weeks and 8 weeks. A pain evaluation of patient was made, using the VAS and PPT and A function evaluation of patient was made, using the WOMAC, gait ability evaluation of patient was made, using the Dartfish program. The normality test of the data was performed by the Shapiro-Wilk test, and a homogeneity test was performed using one-way ANOVA for the general characteristics of the three groups. The statistical analysis interaction in each group was performed by two-way repeated ANOVA. The statistical analysis comparison of differences in each group was performed by one-way ANOVA. The post-hoc test was analyzed using LSD, and the significance level for statistical inspection was set as 0.05. In conclusion, in patients who osteoarthritis of knee before treatment, when they were compared with a control group, the effect of applying a taping and electromagnetic therapy to improve function ability and pain decrease was thereby confirmed.
