This study was conducted to verify the effect of the group art therapy on the job stress and the self-efficacy. The study group consisted of 14 insurance planners who are working for a non - life insurance company located at D city. These 14 subjects were divided into an experimental group of 7 subjects and a control group of 7 subjects. This experiment was carried out from August 15, 2017 to January 31, 2018, when a total of 17 sessions were held twice a week for 90 minutes per each session. The measurement tools used in this study were the job stress scale and the self-efficacy scale, which were implemented before and after. For qualitative analysis, PITR (Person in the rain) and KHTP (Kinetic-House-Tree-Person drawing) were compared for analysis before and after. First, the group art therapy program showed a positive effect on job stress of insurance planners. As a result of comparing the experimental group and the control group with the job stress scale before and after, the experimental group showed a decrease in job demands and relationship conflicts. However, it was indicated that the group art therapy program did not affect lack of job autonomy or organizational system, because their increase or their change were negligible. In the control group, it was found that their increase was minor or their change was very slight. In addition, most of the subjects showed decreased stress and increased coping resources in the after PITR test after conducting the group art therapy program. Second, the group art therapy program showed a positive effect on the self-efficacy of insurance planners. As a result of comparing the experimental group and the control group after conducting the self-efficacy test before and after, most of the subject in the experimental group showed an increase in self-confidence and self-control efficacy. However, significant decrease in the was shown in the task difficulty, it was concluded that this program did not affect the task difficulty. In the control group, there was no significant change after conducting the group art therapy program. Third, the changes could be made in the processing of group art therapy. In the beginning, most people expressed stress on their work performance and interpersonal relationship, and they felt anxiety for their weakness, and solitude in the interpersonal relationship. In the middle stage, the subjects explained the stress that they felt due to the contract performance, sales, attendance rate of the team, the influence on the team members by their work performance. And, they were supported from the members with the sympathy and encouragement on the parts that they could not solve. It was a great change during the process. In the self-efficacy, the subjects showed a changed attitude in their positive thoughts while searching for resources that support themselves although they felt difficult at the present. In the latter stage, while they were supported from their members about the advantages they did not recognize, they sought out business solutions, and finally learned that they had to change themselves, and that they needed positive thinking and active attitude. As concluded above, it was confirmed that the group art therapy program had a positive effect on the job stress reduction and self-efficacy improvement of insurance planners. Also, it is considered that this program can be used to ensure the happy and healthy lives of insurance planners and alleviate their job stress.
