The purpose of this study is to explore the prospect of job motivation, task perception and future perspective in Millennial generation teachers, to provide a new perspective on the difference of existing generations and to act as a school leader who is flexible to coping with changing generations and to provide a new framework for the appearance of teaching culture. For this, research questions are established as follows. First, what is the job motivation of Millennial generation teachers? Second, what is the task perception of Millennial generation teachers? Third, what is the future perspective of Millennial generation teachers? Fourth, what is the Characteristic of Millennial generation teachers? To handle the research questions, I conducted qualitative research using semi-structured in-depth interview method and analyzed previous research related to teacher generation. Twelve members of the Millennial Generation Teachers(1982-1994) working in elementary schools in Seoul and the metropolitan area were interviewed. One was a Boomer generations teacher in the 1950s and three were X generations teachers in the 1960s and 1970s. The study has come up with the following results. First, the teachers of the Millennial generation were influenced by the parents' generation who had experienced the IMF and the proportion of the second career teachers gradually increased. The second career teachers commonly had a negative feeling about company life. The millennial generation teachers were generally satisfied with their children, time for teaching, autonomy, independence, their free and non-competitive work environment. And they felt dissatisfied with childcare and unnecessary administrative work, low salary, and long teatime. Second, the teachers of Millennial generation regarded the professionalism of the teachers as important. For this purpose, they tried to develop their professionalism by belonging to the graduate school, the professional learning community and the study group. They acquired and utilized a lot of information through SNS. In school work, they tried to make their own voice or try to make a change but they became accustomed to and adapt to the school culture by experiencing it unacceptable. In addition, they tried to pursue efficiency rather than following the existing work, and they valued the Work and Life balance. In addition, they felt dissatisfaction and fatigue in the school system, which is unreasonably assigned to the school system, and excessive child care and administration. In order to cope with social changes in the future, they emphasized the student-centered classroom and used a variety of classroom equipment. Students took a rather open and autonomous position regarding students’ make-up and dress. Third, the Millennial generation teachers' future perspective showed various career paths in order to design their careers as their favorite field, not merely promotion or not which is traditional path. The research results and discussions have led to the following conclusion. First, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the teachers of each generation in order to prevent these generation differences from being identified as generation conflicts. Second, school administrators and education administrators need to set up school management and education policies in consideration of the features of these generations. They have to recognize that not all teachers will respond to educational change and policy in a unified way, and that a significant proportion of the other responses will depend on the teachers' generation identity. Third, it is necessary to change into a school teaching culture that can be shared. School administrators should provide a sharing and physical and psychological space for ideas that can accommodate these diverse generations. Fourth, it is necessary to change the existing regulations on school leadership, the training of school administrators and the appointment system. Millennial generation teachers think that the existing promotion system make them give up their important values like work and life balance, autonomy and independence. And they tried to design their career by themselves. Fifth, there is a need to change the existing misperception about living in 'normal teacher' and 'male teacher'. The millennial teachers felt the uncomfortable feeling about the role and awareness of the male teacher which was widespread in the school. And they put value on doing what they like, even though it was not a promotion. So this misconception needs to be changed.
