The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of community attachment and retention through the satisfaction of users of paid-for-living sports facilities in Jeonju, Jeonbuk Province, and to use the results to maintain the high level of community involvement and exercise.
The study was conducted using the convenience sample extraction method for 300 people who currently live in Jeonju, Jeonbuk Province, using paid living sports facilities. Exclusion criteria for questionnaires with subjects were as follows: dual input, inorganic input, and non-conforming data. consequently, 289 parts were analyzed.
The questionnaire was composed of the degree of satisfaction with paid living sports facilities, community attachment, duration of exercise, demographic characteristics, and the specific measurement variables made up of facility satisfaction and service satisfaction. The users who responded to the survey responded to each question using a five-point recursive scale, and the data analysis performed frequency analysis, feasibility and reliability analysis, and difference verification (t-verification, F) using SPSS 23.0
First, the differences between the variables according to demographic characteristics are as follows. The gender-specific difference test showed statistically significant differences in identity, subsistence, and participation intentions and recommendation intentions, which are sub-variables of community engagement. The age difference test result showed a statistically significant difference in facilities satisfaction and service satisfaction, which is a lower variable of the satisfaction level of the paid living sports facilities. The monthly average income difference test results showed a statistically significant difference in the level of facility satisfaction and service satisfaction, which is a lower level of satisfaction with paid living sports facilities. According to the difference verification according to the frequency of use of the facilities, there were statistically significant differences in facility satisfaction, service satisfaction, and sub-variance of the exercise zone, the degree of participation and recommendation. Differences over the period of use of the facility showed statistically significant differences in the sub-divided nature of community engagement, the degree of participation and recommendation in the sub-variable nature of exercise zones.
Second, the multiple regression analysis on the impact of user satisfaction of paid living sports facilities on community engagement revealed that service satisfaction and service satisfaction, which are sub-components of utilization, affect the identity of the community attachment.
Third, after conducting a multilevel analysis on the effects of satisfaction with the use of paid-in gym users on the exercise site, the degree of participation in which the service satisfaction and the facility satisfaction affect the exercise site, was revealed.
In conclusion, the living sports facility, which serves as a meeting place for local residents, gives special meaning to the area they live in, and determines that social interaction occurs through interaction with local residents. In addition, high satisfaction level can be considered a way to maintain physical, emotional, and social health through continuous participation in sports activities by local residents.
