In this study, we designed, analyzed and implemented a PVDF vibration sensor by reducing the ground loop noise and common mode noise to reduce the noise generated by the PVDF vibration sensor, and verified its effectiveness through experiments. Generally, the noises found in the PVDF vibration sensor are ground loop noise and common mode noise. the ground loop noise can be removed by connecting an additional line and bypassing the noise. the common mode noise can be eliminated through circuit equalization. Therefore, the film part of PVDF vibration sensor is coated with copper that is connected to ground, and the output terminals of the sensor is connected to the balanced charge amplifier for common mode noise elimination, thereby reducing the influence of noise on the whole system. In order to compare the effect of 60Hz interference wave, PVDF sensors with and without noise reduction measures were tested on the conductor plate. As a result, the power spectrum of the 60Hz component was measured to be about 70 dB less than that of the sensor without the reduction measures. Also, when two sensors were placed, separated from the ground 72 plane, the sensor without noise reduction measures was measured to be about 40 dB larger. In addition, when two sensors were attached on applying a 200Hz sine wave of 1V amplitude to a metal plate, the sensor without noise reduction measures showed about 70dB larger 60Hz power spectrum. In order to simulate the noise environment, we applied the sine wave of 159.2Hz of 1V amplitude to the metal plate as the external interference noise. In the case of the sensor with the noise reduction measures, it was observed that the 60Hz interference wave and the 159.2Hz sinusoidal wave were clearly removed in comparison with the sensor signal without the reduction countermeasure. Finally, a comparative experiment was carried out with an external interference wave of 159.2 Hz and a mechanical vibration of 159.2 Hz. For the sensor with noise reduction measures, only 159.2Hz vibration signal spectrum was clearly observed (~ 50dB). Therefore, the PVDF sensor system using the noise reduction measures developed in this study can easily detect the physical vibration signal by removing the influence of the ground loop and the common mode noise. And it can be considered that the noise reduction measures proposed in this study can be applied not only to PVDF sensors but also to the development of sensors suitable for real environments where there is a large influence of external noise
