This paper compared facial micromovements from the authenticity of facial expressions and compared emotional authenticity features by comparing the degree of activation of facial expressions. The facial movement was collected when the true facial expressions are constructed and fake facial expressions are constructed. It is meaningful as a basis to distinguish the intention of the user by distinguishing the authenticity of the emotion in the facial recognition technology that recognizes the human emotion. In order to collect facial expressions according to authenticity, the users had been exposed to stimuli that could induce true emotions and fake emotions. It have been confirmed whether the emotions were actually induced by the user's facial expression response and subjective evaluation. The facial micromovement features have been extracted as speed, size, and amount of facial expressions, where collected at the onset sections of the facial expressions. And it have been compared through the micromovement of the facial expressions by emotion and genuine. As a result, characteristic micromovements were observed according to the authenticity of the facial expressions and different regional activation was shown for each facial expression. This result can be an indicator to confirm the characteristic muscles and authenticity of the four expressions (happiness, sadness, anger, and satisfaction) of the two-dimensional emotional region by supporting the 'Duchenne smile' which was previously defined as a real smile. In the further research, it is expected that it will be utilized as a tool for measuring the emotional quality, which can evaluate whether the emotion has been induced before the user expresses using the characteristics of the micromovement according to the authenticity of the facial expression.
