Since the dredged soil is mainly composed of sandy soils, it is possible to recycle the dredged soil and, then, prevent environmental pollution, through technologies of appropriate screening such as sieving and sorting. For the recycling of sewage sludge dredged soil, this study collected the in-situ samples temporarily stored at the dredging site and, then, evaluated the pollution degree by washing dredged soil with the particle size distribution analysis, organic matter content survey by particle size, and dissolution test method. On the condition of screening with sieve of 0.5 ~ 5 mm particle size distribution and, then, removing impurities through flotation screening, the total percentage of recovered fine aggregate was finally as much as 38 ~ 70%. Based on these results obtained from assessing the degree of pollution, a sewage dredged soil recycling method combining both sieving first and, then, floating sorting methods was proposed. The recycled sand can be used as the sand for reducing disaster by winter snow, which is one of the main sources of sewage dredged soil. If the dredged soil recycling facility is installed in each local government, it is possible to secure a stable demand for sand. In addition, by investigating the sewer pipes buried in the ground using the GPR(Ground Penetrating Radar) method on the ground, the possibility of effectively providing sufficient preliminary information in the the stage of dredging of the sewerage, in advance, was also investigated by directly processing the in-situ data collected from the exploration in the field. It was possible to obtain underground information about the electric permitivity, dielectric constants and, electric conductivity of a part area of Jecheon metropolitan. Therefore, it is possible to analyze in advance the antenna frequency information suitable for the general characteristics of the target around Jecheon area. Using these basic information, GPR survey can be effectively applied to other areas in Jecheon area.
