The paper is an analysis method focused on the relationship between quantitative and qualitative data. The data market is growing, but more data doesn't always produce good results. In the current UX study, the general listing of data or the accumulation of data does not mean much, and the key is whether or not there is an answer on how to utilize the data. The purpose of this paper is to improve the data literacy capability of UX designers by suggesting a method for analyzing the relationship between quantitative data and qualitative data, and to assist in producing design results by conducting data analysis for the project purpose. Through literature review, we analyzed commonalities and differences between UX design and Data Driven UX design, and examined the limitations and relationship analysis methods of Data Driven UX design. Next, the framework was developed by setting criteria to link the relationship between quantitative data and qualitative data, and arranging the raw data and raw data obtained through the data. And the utility was verified by applying the relationship analysis method using the framework to the actual case. As a result of applying the case, the difference of the result according to the data analysis method is as follows. First, when analyzing only quantitative data, insights that are useful for establishing the future direction of services are derived from numerical changes and patterns. However, it was difficult to direct the improvement. Second, when analyzing only qualitative data, insights on specific directions of improvement of services focused on user behavior, causes, and experiences were derived. However, no insight could be made about how perceptions or behavioral patterns change over time. Third, in the analysis of the relationship between quantitative and qualitative data, insights that are useful for organizing the overall service usage flow of users from the cause of behavior to the conclusions that change over time were derived. Both the overall direction of the service and the direction of design improvement with numerical evidence were suggested. As a result, in this paper, we developed a framework for arranging the attributes of data and analyzing the relationship between quantitative and qualitative data. Through this, we applied case studies and verified how the relationship analysis method can give differentiation from other analysis methods in actual service analysis. In the future, it is expected that UX designers will effectively utilize the relationship analysis method between quantitative and qualitative data when conducting service analysis.
