A smart factory is a factory that integrates the entire process of product planning, design, production, distribution, and sales with IT technology to produce customized products at minimal cost, and is emerging as the foundation for the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution. In the smart factory implementation stage, intelligence and autonomy according to data connection and acquisition, data analysis, and data diagnosis are key. In particular, it has the task of acquiring data through sensors installed in various production facilities, and reducing costs and improving productivity based on the acquired data. The collected data enables process monitoring and management, predictive analysis, and predictive maintenance. In addition, it is possible to control the smart factory based on data acquisition and analysis, and to utilize autonomy and intelligence that can be flexibly applied. In this paper, an experimental environment was established for the process equipment of the K-Factory Center of Korea University of Technology and Education to increase the efficiency of the smart factory using the proposed predictive maintenance technology. Among the 20 processes, data was acquired by attaching an IoT sensor that detects a singular value when three cylinders reciprocate in the packaging process. The acquired data is based on the normalized outlier score of 0.5 using the I-Forest algorithm, and when a certain problem occurs, the data error signal is detected in real time. The detected sensor data can detect process problems, check the timing of repairs and failure predictions, and predict that the predictive maintenance system will have an effect in operating the smart factory.
