ncorhyncus keta is cold water fish that has been reported to migrate within a wide range of habitats, including Korea, Japan, North America and Russia, playing important roles in river-sea nutrient cycle and food web. However, researches on O. keta has not widely done in South Korea due to geological limitation asthe southern edge of O. keta migration. In thisstudy, we analysed distribution and migration boundary lines of O. keta in the Milyang River and Spatial distribution and morphological characteristics of O. keta migrating to South Korea and correlation with water quality. We carried out sighting survey in Milyang river to identify the populations and migration boundary lines. Also, we analysed the migration number, sex ratio and individual information [total length (cm), weight (kg)] from ten study areas (eight study sites in the East coast and two in South coast) and multi-variable analysis with water quality. As a result, we identified 40 O. keta and supposed the migration boundary lines are 11km upstream from the study site in the Milyang River. For all O. keta migrating to S. Korea, we discovered a trend of less migrating in the southern part of S. Korea. Also, the weight of male/female were significantly different (p<0.05). From length weight relationship analysis, a and b values were in between 0.0011~0.038 and 2.65~3.49 respectively. In the multi-correlation analysis, the number of migration is negatively correlated with the distance and temperature (p<0.05), positively correlated with the pH, dissolved oxygen, distance and female ratio (p<0.05). This research would be able to be used as fundamental distribution and morphological variations of O. keta in S. Korea
