The Effects of Non-Face-to-Face Collective Art Therapy on Ego-Resilience and Job Stress of Child Care Teacher원문보기

This study attempted to find out how non-face-to-face collective art therapy affects the ego-resilience and job stress of childcare teachers. The subjects of the study were to recruit five childcare teachers who had a childcare teacher certificate and worked at a daycare center, had a ego-resilience score below average, and had a job stress score above average. And then they were placed in the experimental group after obtaining agreement for treatment, The research period was conducted once a week from the end of May 2021 to the beginning of August 2021, and a total of 12 sessions excluding pre- and post-tests, 90 minutes per session. Ego-resilience test and job stress test were used as research tools, and quantitative changes were analyzed with the Wilcoxon signed rank test using the SPSS 25.0 program. In addition, qualitative changes by session of non-face-to-face collective art therapy were analyzed. The summary of the results of this study is as follows. First, non-face-to-face collective art therapy was effective in the ego-resilience of childcare teachers. In the experimental group, there were statistically significant effects in confidence, interpersonal efficiency, optimistic attitude, and anger control, which are sub-factors of ego-resilience. Second, non-face-to-face collective art therapy was effective in job stress of childcare teachers. In the experimental group, the factors of non-supportive working environment, peer teacher relationship, excessive work, childcare activity, and parent relationship, which are sub-factors of job stress, all showed statistically significant effects. Third, non-face-to-face collective art therapy showed qualitative changes by session in the ego-resilience and job stress of childcare teachers. Therefore, through this study, it was confirmed that the non-face-to-face collective art therapy program is effective in improving the ego-resilience of childcare teachers and reducing job stress. Consequently, we hope that this program will be widely applied to improving the ego-resilience of childcare teachers and reducing job stress.
