In this study, the pollutant mixture water and purified water were passed separately and combined through permeable concrete and rainwater street infiltration inlet at roundabout, and relationship was established for each water quality characteristic i.e., Total Phosphorus (TP), Suspended Solids (SS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Nitrogen (TN). The average treatment efficiency of pervious concrete for BOD, COD, SS, TN and TP was 52 %, 55 %, 65 %, 52 % and 87 % respectively, with the average reduction rate of each water quality characteristic was approximately 50 %. BOD and TN showed the lowest average reduction rate of 52 %, and TP showed the highest average reduction rate of 87 %. The reason why the average reduction rate of TP was higher than other water quality parameters is that the TP has a property of being well soluble in water, so it is judged that TP is adsorbed to the soil below the permeable concrete and has little elution. The average treatment efficiency of street infiltration inlet for BOD, COD, SS, TN and TP was 85 %, 86 %, 96 %, 58 %, and 96 %, respectively. TN showed the lowest average reduction rate of 58 % and TP showed the highest average reduction rate of 96 %. The reason why the average reduction rate of TP was higher than that of other water quality analysis items is that it is adsorbed to the non-woven fabric installed at the inlet of the rainwater street infiltration inlet, and the elution is small. In the case of combined installation of permeable concrete and rainwater street infiltration inlet at roundabout, the average treatment efficiency for the pollutant mixture water showed a reduction rate of 60 % or more for each water quality except TN. The TN showed the lowest reduction rate of 23 %. It is noted that the reason why the reduction rate in the combined installation does not show a significantly different reduction rate than the reduction rate for each of the pervious concrete and the street infiltration inlet is because the experiment was limited to 500 g of pollutants. The reason why the reduction rate of combined installation was higher than that of the separate installation of pervious concrete and street infiltration inlet is because the combined installation has greater impact on reducing non-point source pollutants entering the road. The results of the experiment at the test site did not reduce the concentration of each water quality parameter at once unless in the agitated tank. This is because the test site experiment had a high possibility of external inflows or pollutants accumulated in the facility during the experiment, whereas the experiment of the agitation tank is under a controlled surrounding environment. Furthermore, it can be assumed that various natural variables can influence the experiment. Nevertheless, the concentration of SS was consistently reduced. The relationship was established for each water quality parameter incase when the pollutant mixture water and purified water passes through pervious concrete, and rainwater infiltration street inlet. Results showed that the correlations were recognized for BOD, COD, TN, and TP, however, SS was found to have no correlation with other parameters. In other words, the relational formula established in this study can calculate the non-point source reduction rate for BOD, COD, TN, and TP, however, relational formula cannot be used for SS parameter. As a result, this study presented the unique technology for the treatment of the natural non-point source pollution after identifying the pros and cons of separate and combined installation of pervious concrete, and rainwater infiltration street inlet. Furthermore, it is possible to construct, install and operate a non-point pollution reduction device on-site while forming an optimal plan suitable for its water quality characteristics. In addition to this, the established formulas can be used for estimating the reduction effect of non-point pollution by installing pervious concrete and rainwater street infiltration inlet on site. In the future, results of this study can be used as guideline for developing a new technology for efficient treatment of non-point source pollution.
